Talk about NBA Live 08 here.

I was playing around in the practice arena and noticed that you can control when he does his step-back jumper. You just hold the left stick either left or right and press shoot. It works from a post up too.

Yup, it's a nice animation but it's too bad you can't just take a leaning jumper without triggering that move.

Actually, i did. I think the go-to move only works when he's dribbling.

Did anybody notice LeBron's go-to move, or anyone else for that matter?

Do you think they'll have Gilbert say "Hibachi" when he's doing his go-to-move or when he's on fire? Small detail, but that would be pretty sweet.

Go to Moves I know so far are:
Lebron has a signature fadeaway when shooting from the post up
Parker has his signature tear drops
Ginobili has his own crossover move and I think he has his own dunk too
Duncan has own hookshot when shooting from the post

Thanks Jano. I'll go try them out.

In the player intros it looks like LeBron says his own name when being announced. That would be great though.

He probably won't yell "Hibachi!" but I'd say he'll be one of the players with his own celebration animations.

That's pretty sweet. So there are player-specific celebration animations?
By the way, it would be cool if Antoine Walker still did his shimmy and EA implemented that into the game

Player specific celebrations have been mentioned a few times, I'm guessing they'll only be included for prominent players like Arenas though.

Sounds good, thanks Andrew

Are the Go to moves available for the PC version?
If its gonna be available i'll be like
Fri Sep 14, 2007 5:51 pm
It will be available on PC but it wont look as good as on the Ps3/Xbox 360 version.

Well, it appears as though they'll be available on the PC version, it hasn't been confirmed as such. If the PS2 previews are anything to go by it seems some Go To moves will be implemented which should mean they'll be in the PC version as well.

Perhaps it was just a sensation.. but in Go-To-Moves video (Ps2), the moves seem identical to Freestyle Superstar moves.
So, wich differences will be there?

IMO, the video is only called like that..
Why do I say this?
Because actually you can see only two true go-to moves there... I think other moves are just simple moves...The go-to moves that you can see are Nowitzki's fade-away and Kobe's too... Other moves can't be go-to moves, If I'm wrong then EA is crazy...

It isn't really apparent from the video. I'm guessing they'll be pretty much the same, only fewer players will have them and/or they won't look as slick as the Xbox 360/PS3.
