I like how, when you call a timeout the give you like 25 sec or so to either change the lineups, strategy, defense or go back to te game...and the cool thing about it is that when your doing all this it shows a little cutscene of the coach talking to the players

this game looks well improved and i can't wait untill it comes out...i'm gonna be playing this online ALOT

Stuff in the paint still looks pretty damn horrible, and it still seems fairly choppy.

That little freeze thing at like 5:12 mark is a bit annoying, hopefull they can get that fixed.

There still seem to be many glitches, but overall improvement on 07.

Yeah, it sure does. Love the quick-strike, it seems as if either they refrained from using FSS moves, or I just didn't catch it.

The game does look a little fast and jerky, like with pump fakes, changing direction, and playing defense. The models also look bigger, which would explain the chaos in the paint. (I liked the size they used for 07) Hopefully EA will smooth it out. Good to hear that a demo is coming out.

Looks good when comparing to previous Lives, a big improvement for sure from last year.

Pros:
I like the quick strike ball handling,
Post play seems to include endless opportunities
And the graphics are good with great player detail and textures

Cons:
The game still looks jerky but has improved.
They need to fix the ball physics, gravity seems to be an issue in this game.

Although I won't be buying this game, it is definitely worth a demo try and a rental.

He said the demo comes out a month before the release, so around Sep 2nd. Sweet

I'mgonna get both games. . while this game looks nyce, Its still a bit Choppy, but it's much improved tho!!! They have the game speed too fast, It might look better slowed down

I like Shots, Camera, Rebounds, Dribbling, Net animations, Score display...

I don't like Passes, Defence

i like the passes a lot better. the animations to pass the ball and catch it are a lot shorter so you won't have to wait forever to run a fast break or swing the ball.

I'm very proud of EA Canada, they made a great work on this game. Sure there are still lots of glitches and jerky moves, but the game has improved so much!! I'm very anxious to play the demo, it sure has to be amazing when you play it.

LOVED:
- Quick-Strike Ball Handling, it looks awesome, can't wait to pull out moves with Marcus Williams.
- Fastbreaks, they're very well programmed.
- The cool-not-flashy dunks, there seems to be lots of them for big men. I hope they fix their timing.
- TV Camera... simply awesome.
- And finally, I love that Live will be fun again, and even interesting.

HATED:
- Some jerky animations, but I predict Live 09 will be very very smooth.
- Player models, I really think they NEED to change those body types (specially their legs) before they release the game. They're damn horrible.

Overall impression: They're on the right way again with this franchise, after two horrible years, and this game is a BIG improvement.

I spect a lot more from the ESPN Licensing, like live roster updates.

Sth I forgot. The guy n the free throws line is like dancing...

They have to do a lot of work. There is no defence. We didn't see steals or double teams etc. Many silly passes normally will have no chance in a real court. In the video defenders look the ball passing nearby them without doing anything to stop the ball.

Also the glitch after the foul. The screen is freezed for some seconds.

However the game rocks ... Well, at least we don't have 07 problems

Rebounds problem is solved, guards are not dominating, players don't dunk in front of 3 defenders, Shot arc is nice, camera is excellent. I notice also the 3rd referee (I don't remember him in 07).

Menus are great (although font is a little bit small). Score display better than 07.

There will be a PC version but it will not be a port of the Xbox 360/PS3 version.
