Well as interesting as this is, EA is creating games surrounding the 360/PS3 now. All of the power that these next gen consoles have makes for greater possibilities that current gen really can't keep up with. I am officially done with PC now that i have a 360. It is the future and the best of games are going to be shown on the next gen consoles and maybe on PC if it goes next gen.

Holy crap, so you DO use the Wiimote.

"Jump in on the NBA action with EA SPORTS Family Play that gives every user the opportunity to enjoy success in NBA Live 08. You control your team’s shooting, passing, and steals on defense with the Wii remote, and leave the rest up to the AI. If you're already a pro, use both the Wii remote and nunchuck for more advanced controls."

Interesting. The Family Play option is kind of a good idea. If you can play with Player 1 using regular mode and Player 2 using Family Play... I could finally play a basketball game with my girlfriend. That would be a plus.

It still says NBA Live 07 on the banners, too. Looks pretty crappy. Other than the controls/'family mode', this is NOT good advertising, in my opinion.

That's the bottom line these days. Ultimately I'd prefer to play the game on the PC but until it's ported from the Xbox 360/PS3 we're not going to see the same innovations being made. That said, I'll still be getting the PC version as well this year but I reckon I'll be playing the 360 version as well.

What will the difference be between the PC and ps3/xbox versions?

No, don't leave the PC gaming world just because EA sucks.

PC has pretty much any game you can want besides nba/nfl/nhl/etc.

I mean, battlefield, counter-strike source and half-life 2 you can't beat, you get the tom clancy games, etc. Even new popular games are coming on PC (time shift, quake wars, graw 2, Bioshock)

I'm getting a 360 for NBA games and GTA IV and that's it, I love my PC for gaming, I just invested $300 in this 8800gts card too  (my 360 I'm getting is gonna be free or really cheap though)

         CURSE YOU EA!!!!!!!!!

I have no idea why that had to end with a million smileys and cursing at EA. <boggles>

Well it's because if they didn't then there would be alot of rumors about it not being on the Wii. And you can tell they made this just in time for E3 because it still has the shoes from the PSP NBA Live 07. They quickly ported the PSP graphics and added in the controls. The Wii graphics are even further from done then the 360/PS3 Versions.

cheater1034, there isn't any point blaming EA for funelling most of their resources into developing the game for the next gen consoles. That's where the market lies for them. The PC segment has always been small and it keeps diminishing with every other installment of the series. It's just business.

And about the screens, I couldn't click past the first two because they look crappy compared to the x360 and ps3 ones.
