it dosen't really tell to much, but it does seem like the game has made major improvements, they said it plays nothing like the previous games, and i think thats a good thing.

yea freestyle superstars are gone, for next gen atleast, i have no clue wut there doing for current gen

With freestyle superstars gone, this game get 10x better IMO.

If this turns out to be like 05 but with fastbreaks and "Go-To" moves, I'm probably buying it. (Y)

i wonder if go to moves just replace freestyle superstars. if the go to moves are unstopable then it will be another crap game. i held out hope the last few years for this series and it keeps dissapointing, this year i am gonna wait and read a few reviews on this forum before even considering the game

Thank god the fss are gone!!! the goto moves will prolly be like kobe's fadeaway and shaq's hook shot...but as sauru said i can only hope that they won't be unstopable

idk but i know the ign first article about the to go moves said theres no gimmicks or special buttons to press so im guessing they arent unstopable

I'm sure thy are just regular shots, if they become too dominant maybe you can tweak em with sliders

Thu Jun 28, 2007 12:51 pm

their just regular shots, it not like you just stand in one certain spot on the floor and do the same move over and over again, its contextual like brian ulrich said..so, sometimes you'll do a go to move and sometimes you'll just take a regular shot

Fortunately that wouldn't appear to be the case. If anything, they're an extension of signature shots. For example, Steve Nash's off-balance runner in the lane is executed simply by Nash driving to the hoop and holding down the shoot button. Demonstrations and hands-on experience at the community day suggested that these moves will not be unstoppable. Being that they belong to Superstars they are going to be effective but not automatic baskets (though I suppose like most shots they'll fall more often on the easier difficulty levels).
