no doubt it would be a lot of fun, but for now if you want to do that you need to play Sony's PS2 bball game which has "The Life"
Opinions are my own.

Randy - 'Did you know Earl that before we was humans we was monkeys?'
Earl - 'Hmmm, What were we before we were monkeys?'
Randy - 'I don't know...I don't even remember being a monkey'

I wish they would do it! I would play the game for 5 hours a day if they had Superstar mode like Madden! I love the Superstar mode in Madden, but I get sick of it and start a new one with a defferent position. NBA Superstar mode would be great because there are only the few positions to choose from, and basketball is a much better sport than Football. I would be PG and hope to god that I get drafted by the Blazers!

I'd give it a look but I'm more interested in the current Dynasty Mode format so I'd much rather they improve that and add more depth before a single player career mode is added.

Its way too repitative in Madden, you get bored after a season, if there would be tons of features that'd be great on Live, but if its repetative as in Madden, then it shudnt be in there.

I like the superstar mode in madden only I dont know as much about the NFL as I do the NBA. Like someone else said I would probably play it for hours if NBA Live had one. If dynasty mode had better menu's like on NBA Live 2000 I would probably like it ALOT better.

I would like to play from a real player's perspective. Like maybe... what if you could start Dwyane Wade's career over, starting with the 2003 draft? Instead of being picked by the Heat, he winds up on the Bulls!!! Or the Raptors!!! It would take a lot of work, but, I think that would be kind of interesting. :)

I think what be cool is if you could create a player or just play as a current NBA player. Kinda like what TNazT said but I think starting at 2003 would be to hard they would have to make ALOT of rosters to be able to go back as far as you wanted like with Kobe or AI.

My setiments exactly, EA's interpreatations of the superstar modes suck.

The Life on Sony's is pretty good...I like it.

I'm with Andrew, I would prefer they build a deeper Dynasty Mode as it's the only mode I play. Maddens career mode or what ever it's called gets old after about the first season. Stick to what most people play and improve on it, in this order.

- GAMEPLAY....this is the core of what makes any game successful, concentrate on it!
- Presentation....graphics etc.
- Dynasty....then if you have any time improve or build some new mode, but the other 3 have to be improved and expended on every year to keep pace with NBA2K7. One could argue that they've been falling of the pace over the last few years, with major shortcomings being, game play and presentation.

I know where you're coming from but the reality of the situation is that just won't be the case. They've basically reached the limit of what they can achieve on Current Gen as far as innovation is concerned so more focus will be placed on developing for Next Gen.
