Team wins/loses record

Hey nlsc i wanted to know how do u change teams wins and loses record that pops up when the game starts introduction

How can u tell what team wins and loses

The key fields to focus on are as follows:

YEAR: (the first year of the season in question, eg 2006 for 2006-2007)
TEAMNUM: The team the stats are for (relates to the TEAMID in teams.dbf)
SHWINS: Number of home wins during the season
SHLOSSES: Number of home losses during the season
SAWINS: Number of away wins during the season
SALOSSES: Number of away losses during the season

The SHWINS, SHLOSSES, SAWINS, and SALOSSES from the most recent season (2006-2007 for NBA Live 08) are added up to display the record that appears during the intro of Play Now games. Therefore, to change that information in a saved roster, you need to edit those fields for the 2006 entries for each team. They're all together at the bottom of the tmcareer.dbf file, so they're easy to find. Just refer to teams.dbf for the team ID numbers.

In short:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the database, where you'll find all the entries with 2006 under the YEAR.
2. Change the SHWINS, SHLOSSES, SAWINS, and SALOSSES as needed for each 2006 entry. Refer to teams.dbf for the TEAMNUM ID number as necessary, to make sure you're editing the team you want.
