Looks like Maccabi will win this year's Euroleague... unless Panathinaikos can shut them down defensively.

I Don't think maccabi is better in any position , maybe Eidson is better than perperoglou , but Diamantidis and Calathes are way better than the lonely Pargo , he can't make it against panathinaikos , he is so alone is PG . But he is still an incredible player .
Schortsianitis is the only maccabi's C , and pao has batiste vougioukas and maric . In 3 and 4 the 2 teams have both good players , in 2 pao can also use Romain Sato so i don't know what Loran Blan is gonna use on him and Nicholas . The main panathinaiko's weapon of course is Calathes speed , this guy can't be caught even with an automatic gun .

Good Luck to maccabi anyway , but we want the 6thx

Pargo not alonle at all. Eidson and Burstein filling Perk's position prett well.
about Calathes the solution is easy- Eidson will defend on Diamantidis and Pargo will defend Calathes. Pargo is way more faster than Calathes.
you forgot Hendrix, he is not the tallest C but he is definatly a great effective player.
what good in Maccabi this year is that finally we good inside and outside. if you Double-Team Sofo- he can pass outside to Blu/Pnini and even Eidson and Pargo. if you play personall man to man defense or 3-2 zone the ball will go to Sofo and he is one of the best 1 one 1 players thanks to his size, quickness, and has good post position finding.

Well my friend Omri . Calathes is better in defense than pargo , way better . Where is Navvaro? Where is Spanoulis ? Where is Kaukenas? The young Greek disappared them all with his speed and power . Also I Don't think Hendrix would be able to play against Batiste's power , and also is there a solution for Nicholas , if there is only for Calathes and Diamantidis? And is there a solution for Tepic or Vougioukas or Sato or perperoglou ? Let's see the matct ups

As you can see we can down you defensively , and Calathes can play and over play game against Pargo . Eidson is like Diamantidis but don't forget that Mitsos is the best european player . Sofo and Batiste are both great players so is a nice matchup . For all the others we will see today

Congrats Maccabi , GREAT GREAT FINAL , absolutely , couldn't have been more good . I Know you are sad cause you lost , but man remember you suppoert Maccabi with 5 european championships , nothing ends here . You have a great team , and i was glad my team played against yours .

it's actually expectible win by Pao. They have repeated their history and acording it greek champs won't win euro competition next year. But the main reason why Pao won't save his trophy is Badger. He will do all what he can next year (2012)in Istanbul - final4,for a eFes pilsen - bear team win.
I'm sad for Sharp. Maybe it was the last chance to win the cup for him. Also Perkins is unhappiest basketball player in the world at the moment. He thoughs he could win the turkish airlines euro' league.
So I knew that if you want to be the champion join Pao for a 12-13 regular season.
Also Diamond man said he won!t play for any team (even nba team) except pao(shame for V-Span...). It's nice but i wouldnt be so categoric in his place. The year is 31 and he has all trophys in the old continent, so why don't join the nba?
Verry boooooooring final 4, but i must say : where is not Žalgiris, where is not interesting... Pocius would make some blocks for Pargo and others. But what are we talking about?
