tnx for the release,, i played brgy. ginebra vs. talk n txt and it works really fine... nice work!!!! but please some suggestions,, fix the primacy and the substitution because i notice that ritualo is not subbing... and also some new jerseys like tropang texters... tnx again....

Try to adjust the GAMEPLAYSETTING, maybe it might help
User Slider
-User Substitution Frequency = 60
CPU Slider
- CPU Substitution Frequency = 65 (this will make the CPU substitute frequently)

Normally I set my simulation time to 10 mins to get the players 20+ average. I set the gameplay time to 6 mins to get a realistic low score.

I just played Ginebra VS TNT using 6 mins per qtr. Ritualo was used at the second qtr. Problem is he replaces cardona, while castro replaces alapag. The CPU will definitely use cardona more as i set his primacy very high. It was needed to make cardona have high average during simulations as well as ingame. Maybe a solution to this is make Ritualo a SF and SG. Not very realistic but he can be more used ingame if he has SF and SG position. BTW, Cardona scored 27 against me uisng 6 mins per qtr (Kahit sa PC game ba naman, buyawa pa rin si Capt.Hook).

Parang ganun, pero sama sama na ung pbl+pba+lp, bale add on sya..hndi nman mawawala ung s nba live eh, basta save m lng rosters mo at wag mo i overwrite ung nka lagay s sgsm kung ayaw mo mawala, i backup mo para cgurado

last tanong... Kung yung SGSM lang yung papalitan ko, hindi kaya sya magccrash? kasi hindi ko naman na need yung mga ai or tuning etc, sgsm lang talaga para dun sa mga uniforms at face patch.

It seems that there are some poeple having trouble installing the UPB BETA Files, so i make a bbeter installation guide.

INSTALLATION GUIDE:

1) Ok, the files you have should be Hamzie UPB (145,417KB) and the sgsm (668kb). If you downloaded the UPB with Missing Files included, then the only file you have should be the Hamzie UPB BETA (146,042KB).
Hamzie_UPB+Missing Logo Files = Hamzie UPB BETA. You can choose to download the first two files OR the Last file.
2)Make sure you have a fresh install NBALIVE08.
3)Backup you NBALIVE files (copy it to another safe location, but dont remove or cut it).
4) Inside Hamzie UPB, there are 7 files (including Thumb.db). You only need the nba directory and roster files.
5)Open nba directory, and copy all 7 folders and paste to your nbalive default installation C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08. (Listen, windows will ask you if you want to overwrite the nbalive files, click yes to all. This is good w/c means you are in the right directory.)
6) Now open the Roster file and copy New UPB to your save file default location is C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves. Then copy SETTINGS to C:\Documents and Settings\ALADIN\Your Username\NBA LIVE 08.
7)Open the Missing Logo File. The files is named sgsm with 38 fsh files inside. Now open it and copy those 38 files to your NBALIVE default installation/sgsm. The location is C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08\sgsm.
NOTE: if you downloaded the Hamzie UPB BETA (missing files included), then skip step 7.

Im already improving the ROSTER FILE. I included the PBA players annual salary and how many years left on their contract. This is very helpful for people who wanna play DYNASTY. By default the max salary cap for a team is around 50M+. Now with the updated total salary of players for a team is only around 20-30M only, so no need to HEX the franchise data to have a greater salary cap. I have set the PBA players years of contract to 1-5 years (star players have longer contract so we can retain most of star players on their respective teams), while PBL and LP players have 5 yrs contracts. I got the PBA players annual salary firuges from PBAFantasy.

About the player rating or primacy or any suggestion about the roster, pls post them here.

To vinz: We should make another BETA release with updated Roster and with the new TNT and new ROS Jerseys adn host it in the new site you are making.

June19: Im sure you future CF releases will be as good as your previous releases.

^^^ i have downloaded the mod yesterday night, but when i tried to play for the first time it crashes back to desktop... ill try your suggestion later when i get back home. hopefully it will work (finger cross)

I really have no idea who are the left-handed players in Phil Basketball. If you can list the lefties you know ill update the roster with the info you can gather.

Well,feeling ko ako pinaka swerte na tao sa mga download ng UPB mod kasi lahat ng bugs na sinabi ni Hamzie,wala sa akin,walang bugs nung nilagay ko yung UPB mod so thanks for your excellent work guys,and yeah the dynasty/season mode did work I thought it wouldn't,I just started one with the Air21 express and it works beautifully,the only problem is the ratings of the 3 pointer and field goals,and PJ Simon is way underated in speed and quickness I think It should be around 86-89
