That's what aging is doktor, Williams is good but there are many point guards who are better than him.. But I prefer him instead of Duhon when he is in Magic.. He is suffering from injury right now that's why he realized its time to rest for himself.. Maybe the Lakers will be the destination for Rick Adelman if Phil Jackson retires

Not too surprising at all given he hasn't been 100% healthy all season.

Bad News...

Shaq Announces Retirement On Website

After a mentally exhausting season in which he was unable to overcome the effects of a right Achilles injury as a member of the Celtics, Shaquille O'Neil has decided to retire after 19 seasons.

In typical O'Neal fashion, he chose the unconventional approach of announcing his retirement via social media. He posted a short video on a new social media site called Tout in which he said:

"We did it. Nineteen years baby," he said in the message. "I want to thank you very much, that's why I'm telling you first, I'm about to retire. Thank you, talk to you soon."

Good News...

Rubio, Timberwolves Agree To Terms

After two years of waiting, flamboyant Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio has agreed to join the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2011-’12 season, league sources told Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday night.

Rubio reached a deal on Tuesday, sources said.

Rubio, the fifth pick in the 2009 NBA draft, has been playing for Regal Barcelona of the Spanish ACB League for the past two seasons. It’s likely that the deal won’t be announced until Rubio, 20, finishes his season in the Euroleague playoffs later this month.

Ahhhh so sad that Shaq will not be playing anymore....I loved him and nate robinson in boston and their jokes :) i think that that trade with ocklahoma fucked up boston...no dominance under the basket like it was :( and now shaq gone..boston needs to find some good center if they want ring

Maybe Lakers can get Shaq as a trainer for their big man specially Bynum

Shaq had one hell of a career. Bad thing is that in his last season, He didn't produce as he would like to.
But really its a good thing Shaq's last season of dominance came when he was in Phoenix (Well atleast he averaged 18 PPG, Not bad  )

Finally! Rubio in the NBA! Can't wait for him to play. It really seems that the Future Superstars of the NBA really rely on Point Guards, (Rubio, Wall, D.Rose, K.Irving) :cheeky:

Jhiane, Yeah, Look out for the Cavaliers brother! #1 & #4 Picks are HUGE! and i mean HUGE!
Cleveland has a bright future ahead of them, they should be a bit more patient. And stop the Win a Ring before the King does moto. Probably use the Thunder and Grizzlies footsteps.

Re: NBA TRADES AND F.A. SIGNINGS TRACKER

Fri Jun 03, 2011 1:20 am

and I think they are planning to get the #2 through trade. I can say trading Baron Davis will be the first option to get the 2nd draft and get rid of Varejao

Re: NBA TRADES AND F.A. SIGNINGS TRACKER

Fri Jun 03, 2011 4:52 am

They should keep the #1 pick and trade the #4 pick for an early second round pick and a second round pick in the future.

It seems like next year's draft class is much stronger than this year's draft class. I mean look at the depth of 2012 draft class. Anthony Davis (The next Kevin Garnett?), James McAdoo, Perry Jones, Jared Sullinger, Austin Rivers, Harrison Barnes, Quincy Miller, Michael Gilchrist, Adonis Thomas, Terrence Jones, Jeremy Lamb, Marquis Teague, etc. WOW... Is this the next 2003 draft class?

Re: NBA TRADES AND F.A. SIGNINGS TRACKER

Fri Jun 03, 2011 12:43 pm

maybe, we don't know yet

Re: NBA TRADES AND F.A. SIGNINGS TRACKER

haha.. The top 25 players of that draft class actually has a potential of becoming an all-star.
