All I can say is that this was never an issue when I was editing the roster files.The schedule was never touched so I don't have an answer for you.

it works fine but can i install the 2012/2013 rosters full package when i installed tup 12 for roster updates and stuff

You may, but you might experience issues.

As been said many times over, install a mod on a clean install.

Hi guys I love nba 08 and I've discovered tup 12 recently here's my problem.
do i have to overwrite all the files or delete the old ones then replacing them with the downloaded ones?
where should i put all the "xxx.big" files? ofc it's written i should in the "sgsm" folder but there are no similar files to be overwritten and I'm confused. should i just create some new folders like : "misc" or "logos"? or let them loose inside the "sgsm"?
Finally, i tried to use only some parts of the whole DL and it didn't go. do i have to use all the 11 parts to have it working properly?

There are no .big files in sgsm to be overwritten by default, which is fine. They're normally stored in .viv files within other folders, but any loose .big, .fsh and .ebo files in the sgsm folder will be loaded instead. This method prevents us from having to import updated .big, .fsh and .ebo into the .viv packages. There's no need to create any new folders; if you do, then the game definitely won't pick up those files. Just extract the files to the folder that's indicated.

Please note that I removed your post asking about TUP 12 graphics in the Crash Solution thread, as it has nothing to do with crash solutions.

To answer your question here though, the file you want from TUP 12 is lit5on5.ubr (you can also grab litcz.ubr and litdunk.ubr while you're at it), which are placed in the sgsm folder. Those are the lighting files, which will give you the appearance you want. They can also be used with any roster.
