TUP 12 RELEASED!READ THE THREAD FOR CRASH SOLUTIONS!!!!

I installed TUP12 with a fresh install, and I have had no crashes.

This always worked when I was fixing the roster files.And it is what everybody should be doing.

im not mixing any mods together with TUP 12 , and yes im using the same method of backing up my original nba live 08 files in order for me to preserve it and able to play other mods . well then , is it a must to not mix any patch on my tup 12 ? like scoreboards,screen overlays,etc

I would believe so, I am using a different indicator with TUP 12 for the players. However that isn't a problem, overlays may cause a crash I guess. I remember having crashes at the start of the introduction in the game. That was prior to my fresh install though, it could also just be your computer.

I would really recommend that you completely uninstall the game, and delete any left over files in the install directory that may contain any mods. Reinstalling shouldn't be a problem really.

well maybe , thats the best recourse now to uninstall my game and reinstall it ..

Need help... When i play the game it sometimes exits and there's an error... Memory is what i remember... It started when edited the tup 12 roster (which is for personal use) using the editor

Once you start making further modifications yourself, there's no way the author can reasonably be expected to continue to support it. It "voids the warranty", so to speak.

I have problem... All roster, team logo, background working, but i don't have faces, and portraits. What i should to do? How to name folder for cf? Please help!

You don't create any folders for the faces and portraits. Just extract them to the sgsm folder.

Andrew, i extract all files from TUP Patch, i have folder - "Portraits" and "Faces", but when i edit player in game, they have white head...

Make sure they haven't been placed into subfolders within sgsm but are all in the main sgsm folder.

i have a slight problem. the faces for derrick williams and tristan thompson in the all star weekend is all screwed up, however, when i play in the quick game mode their faces are perfectly fine. any fix to this?

also another problem i have is in the quick game mode, where every all time team vs all time team match i make crashes to desktop. this does not occur between all time teams and non all time teams though.

may i ask to know if what aiact has been used to this mod ?

TRY TO FOLLOW THIS
remove fxdunk.fsh and fx3pt.fsh from your SGSM FOLDER and try to play with 2x JERSEYS for both teams, see what HAPPENS

what is the roster in this patch is it a 2012/2013 roster

2011/2012. The NLSC roster is the only roster for NBA Live 08 that's been updated as of the current season.

if i use the TUP patch for the layouts and stuff but after that use nlsc roster to have a 2013/2013 roster would it somehow crash

It should work fine with TUP's custom menu files.

i downloaded the update pack 1 and there's the folder called [main folder] - ai's when i extracted it it contains other .rar files and when i tried to extract one of them i was confused where to put the files that are in the .rar files

aiact.viv files go in the ai\act folder. There should be further instructions included somewhere in the download.

but how about the xanims or the xsyms files sir..

Check the readme, or search for those files in the NBA Live 08 folder to see where they all go.

i solve my crashing problems and all but now i have problems with schedule in dynasty mode. :O when i try to play dynasty mode there is empty schedule, no games, calendar is empty, i cant play any games. same story when i change schedule type form nba to random, any solutions, pls help?
