bro alzaga don't over use the 3d effect, not all fonts should be in 3d. and another thing minimize its thickness, it lessens the sharpness and turns into emboss type effect

We won't be using the 3D logo conversion anymore, but instead we will use the 3D Glass Logos conversion as i have better result ingame.

To Alzaga: No need to make the UPB logo. I already have 2 versions. One is plain text and the other one is the release of Double LC.

To Jerson: Thanks for those pic references. I know its really hard to find good pba pic quality and i do appreciate your effort. Do you have a larger pic of that asi, arigo, miller, and the alaska player (1st pic)? If not its really hard to use them. I think i already have around 10 different loading screens. We probably need just 2 more i think and that would be enough. BTW, i love that canaleta dunk pic. Mamaw

MODUPDATE:

I really need to go back to work this week as the wound from my operation have already healed and tihnk im capable to ride the bus again. Not sure about my work load at the office so i guess this will be my last update this week.

Ok i made the startup screenie for the mod. I can't choose which player to put at the title screen so i just used the allstar pba pic and its really a good quality pic. I also finished updating all 30+ logos, the large logos and medium as well as the logos for dynasty mode. During team selection, the 3D glass logos have this blinking effect, like a christmas light and the 3D glass effect really fits the team logos. The effect is a bit unnoticable with 2D Logos.

SUMMARY OF THE MOD PROGRESS
- all 3d Glass Logos completed for the 30 teams (Large, Medium, and Dynasty logos)
- all home and away jersey for the 30 teams completed + RP team = 62 Jerseys. WOW.
- loading screen almost complete
- startup/bootup screen completed
- Cyberfaces and portraits for the PBA team completed
- Cyberfaces for the PBL not yet complete, 4 more teams still needs CFs and portraits. LP will just use generic CFs.
- Roster 60% encoded. 3 PBL team and 12 LP team not yet encoded. (its not really hard to encode this players in the roster, but its really time consuming. I haven't recieved the roster from Maek, so i might also do the roster.
- Araneta Colesium already ingame with added graphics at the background. I use a better lighting for this arena and the result was good.
- new working scoreboard posted at pinoy nlsc. Double LC already submitted an excellent scoreboard but it crashes with the araneta court (using diff light texture, not sure why), i can't enter the game so i made a new simple one just to have a new scoreboard.

THINGS TO DO:
- practice jersey home and away for all 30 teams. I will just use simple design so this wont take long to finish.
- North and South AllStar jersey not yet made.
- Finilizing the Arenas. I already have i think 4 different arenas made by Dann, but i still need to assign them to each team so that it won't conflict with your nba game.
- Completing the ROSTER.
- Rookie CFs if needed
- Intro Movie will be added if there is available good pba movie on the net. Quality of Youtube pba movie not to good.
- Sound will be added if i find a good movie, if not both movie and sound wont be added.

BUGS
- Season, Fiba, Dynasty, and Dunking Contest are all working except for the 3pt Shootout. I can't enter a game during 3pts shootout. This bug started when i added the PBL teams. I still can't figure out the cause. When i play NBA, it works but during UPB it crashes. Maybe its probably with the roster misentry.

LIMITATION
- Player name announcement by the commentators cannot be editted as there are no tool available to edit the sound file of nbalive 2008.

After seeing iris' and hamzie's previews, nagiba na tingin ko sa mod na to. Being a Graphic designer by profession and a former patcher myself, medyo disappointed ako sa mga nakitang kong preview dito dahil may mga nagpapakita ng overused feffects ng mga medyo baguhan pa sa pag gamit ng Photoshop. (No offense naman sa iba dyan, dahil ganun rin ako dati. Dito nga nadevelop skills ko). Pero nung nakita ko yung gawa niyo, mas napabilib na ako. Keep up the good work.

i don't even have to brag about it but sorry i'm a computer graphic designer. handling large format printing. thats why i want to help. but i dont know where to help because i dont know how to patch. im just here to contribute as much as i can(vectoring), and hopefully help. but my former teammates stop the mod no one was handling the project. everyones busy i dont promise anything being here because anytime i would be busy again in my job. well more power to this. one suggestion though try to make a quality control so that not every patch is included try to pick the best among them or create a team and start meting so it would be more organize. thanks.

Just made this loading screen this afternoon... check this is out... different approach on loading screen... manila style.... but still, a lot of things to be improved.... heehee.. lack of time and lack of resources....
jimmy's jersey is not talk n text.. sorry... didn't find big pictures of jimmy..
