Maybe you could do a similar patch for nba live 07 compatible with sum mod. It would be awesome if you could.

I don't have live 07. But it should still work in 07 tho, because they are basically the same (or so I've read). Most 07 patches I've downloaded have worked.

I've done see through shotclock for Boston, but there is a problem. The second shotclock on the back of the bbd... it's hard to explain but Ill post a screenshot later about it. I think if you play oncourt view like me you won't care because you can't see it. But if you play skybox or something, if it bothers you.. you could delete the bbd file and use another one like Lagoas without see through shotclock.

avinavi_15, it's babylei's 3.2 lighting but with some changes to some things so it would fit in better with my custom jerseys etc. He did a great job on lightings.

I didn't make that ESPN 2008 menu and backgrounds.

I downloaded it off this site a few weeks ago. Look in the downloads section for ESPN background patch or something like that. The person who made it didn't release it on the forum only in download section.

I've had a few PM questions about the lighting.

Here is the lighting file, it's babylei's with some changes to fit my vid card settings and jerseys (modified Jump07).

I don't like this lighting until I change some vid card settings, I think without these changes it doesn't look so good but with some extra gamma, contrast and brightness looks nice. So here is the settings I use. If you don't have Nvidia card I think ATI has similar option. You can add a bit more brightness and contrast and it looks better but looks bad in internet and other pc things, and I don't like to switch back and forth all the time. So with these settings, they look good ingame but still look good for other things.

We work hard on this courts... I dont have problem if you or other guys use my courts, but put credits, because it´s my work with little, little modifications!

Yes I understand Lagoa. I don't want any credit, you guys do most work and make the best courts. I mostly change things just for myself but I figure it's better if it's released and others can share it, rather then keep it to myself because I didn't make it all.

Because it's not practical for me to make everything from scratch, when I can just as easily modify some things from the best court or jersey so that I like it better. I wish more people would release the stuff they modify, even if they didn't make it all themself. For me, high quality is better then who made it. How many people have asked about your no texture jerseys?

But I will make sure to put credits because I don't want any credits. Andreas Dahl, Looser, Lagoa, Babylei, pdub and Jump07 do most of the hard work in my patches or screenshots and deserve all credits. In other years I haven't shared these kind of patches but it's cool that it's ok and others can use them. I wish EA would do better job so that we didn't have to do this. But thanks Lagoa, Looser, pdub and everyone else for making the best patches.

I've been getting PMs about how to edit trax list. I don't like PM's because everyone else can't see them and people ask same questions over and over. It's better to share info for everyone to see. Especially with how to edit stuff like 3pt shooting styles in aiact.

So here is more info on how to edit trax list if you are having trouble.

Everything you see in the trax list is in the locale.eng file. If it isn't in the locale file, there is no way for you to see it ingame. If you delete all letters and words from locale file, all text will be invisible ingame.

So if you wanted "Play Now" to say "Quick game" you just need to Search/Find (F5) for "Play Now". This program is called Textpad.

The thing is you can't just type Quick game in. You have to preserve the amount of characters. For play now it's 9. 4 for play, 4 for now plus 1 space.

Hit Insert key when replacing words and it will overwrite old word without adding any more new characters otherwise it will all get messed up. Unfortunately we don't have proper locale editor and this is the best we can do. So we need to make sure it stays at 9. If we wanted it to be blank we would add 9 spaces. Back to Play Now.. replacing it with Quick game wouldn't fit, so it would need to be quickie or something else with 9 or less characters.


It works the same way for any song title or album title. The important thing is there is no way for you to see text in menus unless it is in locale file. So if you can't find it, check spelling mistakes. Or make sure the match case box in find is unchecked. And that text and not hex is selected.
