I think EA won't do any patch... We'll have to figure out the solution!!!

Is there an option to turn off cut scenes? Maybe it is crashing on a cut scene during the timeout.

I'm almost sure Live 07 has it! I'll check!!!

There is an option in 08 to turn off something that sounds like it is the cutscenes. I do not remember the exact wording, it is at the bottom of the camera settings.

I checked NBA live 07, there is a camera cuts option... I don't think it's the same as cutscenes...

Go try and them, post your results! I don't have Nba live 08 yet...

The cutscenes are in the scripter directory. The two files go together. Try using the ones from 07, 06, or 05.

did u try pressing the 2 button or the pass button if u dont have a logitech gamepad to skip the cutscence and beat the crash??

Not a major glitch, but I noticed the coaches kept doing this. And I like the look on the face of the person the second coach is standing infront of.

It's not just you. Not only is the traditional reorder rosters function unavailable, the rotation menu from last year appears to be missing as well.

For crying out loud, the rotation menu was one of my favorite little features. I always played with rotation menu percentages, even for starting lineups, simply because it was more realistic to have a bench guy start every now and then.

I tried but it doesn't work the game still crashes!!!!So I doubt that it's the cutsceenes, i think it's the crack but i can't find any crack to download on the net!!!

I played with NBA teams and there's no end-of-quarter crashes. But the game crashes, if I play with teams like Adidas, U.S.A etc..

Can it be because of the courts? I remember i had to re-install all courts in '07 with SUM. Cause when i pressed Esc, the game crashed.

its not the courts, right now I am doing things to 08 that would make 07 cripple. 512 jerseys (viv format) looser unmodified courts, enhanced lightbloom, 2x CFs w/ sweat, 2x arms, legs and tattoos w/ sweat. No crashing due too those.

haven't read much of this thread but.....

cut scenes are impossible to disable. You turn them off and you'll find youself watching a cut-scene soon enough

You can avoid crashing by pressing ESC just after AI timeout (you have a second or two). Then in the menu you select 'resume game'. It skips a cutscene and everything is OK.
