It's been said since version 1 that my roster isn't supported for dynasty. I'm sorry for this, but it's not my fault if you can't read.

I'm from serbia and I was a huge Sacramento fan before about 5 or more years.THE Sacramento,I'm sure you know what I mean.If not:Webber,Stojakovic,Bibby,Divac and so on,and so on....(Peja and vlade are from Serbia :D )man they were good.And look at them now!Now I like hornets with Stojakovic,but Sacramento was much better.I can't belive they lost that 7th game to stupid lakers.Stupid judges...they stole victory from them..sucks!!!It took me 5 years to start watching NBA again.

Yes I know exactly what you say man. It's like the team I like doesn't exist anymore and I don't know what to do. Lucky I still love nba as a whole even if my Grizz have been flushed down the toilet. Otherwise I don't think I would want to patch anymore. Lakers are my bros fave team and I will never hear the end of that trade. :(

Hornets are very good, Chris Paul is the most under appreciated PG in the league I think. :wink:

WebberF1, just in case if you're going to use my dunk.act~ :)
I found players that with dunkpack 2 would be unable to dunk.

It is not a serious problem since most of them in fact don't dunk
but still some of them needs to be edited to the other dunkpack
eg: Sean Williams, D.Songaila, A.Iverson.

If you got time and plan to release a new version, help me to do this~ thanx!

I´m Sorry Bro,

But I´m Confused.

I got version 1.3final(142mb). Do I need any of the previously version?

I also have the Fix for 1.3 and the 1.31(13.6) . I wonder they are so much smaller.

If it´s not to ask much, after u done this wonderful job, would u mind editing the first POST of this thread to contain the latest links to the patch? It would be easier once it´s full of pages.

Hi Webber, great patch! But I'm still having crashes :( . I used the 1x shoes, the 2x arms and legs and the court patches in your roster but it still crashes after playing a minute or two into the game. Plus the other usa teams are still not showing up.

Yea, I ve been meaning to edit first post for a while but decided to wait until the final release (I mean the proper final :oops:) which should be soon I hope with no more bugs or problems.

Basically everything you need is included in 1.3 which is why its so big in size. But in 1.31 it has some small fixes. So if you use 1.31 you need 1.3 installed.

I think if it were a bad problem with textures it would crash straight away when it first shows the players warming up and intro screen.

Does it happen when a player shoots or just for no reason? It could be a problem with aiact, maybe you using an older version, its hard to say. Or it could be you have alot of 2x faces. To make sure it isn't because of too much 2x textures you could try removing the 2x arms or something else, and if it doesn't crash then you know for sure its because of too much high res stuff. Then its just a matter of removing the 2x faces or something else.

No. Because I don't use dynasty, and while I like to patch stuff and share it for others to use, I patch for myself. And it would take alot of hours to make dynasty work properly and I wouldn't be able to enjoy it, and to do so many hours work like that, you only want to do when you get payed (like a job).

All I can say for dynasty is use Andrew or Alby roster with batch file to convert sig shots to new roster.

Blood915, GazuN, I have finished with aiact. After long hours of working on it. :wink: Lately I have tried to tweak the right amount of 3pt shots and midrange shots and passing and fastbreaks. And also test shot distribution of each team. I think this roster will be the best yet, which should be release soon. :wink:

The gameplay is different from before so now need to test and try to make some better slider settings, to make sure its not too easy or too hard. But to watch cpu vs cpu game looks like TV. There has also been some changes to the shots around the hoop with more shots added, for both bigmen and guards.

If you think reverse dunk should be removed from my roster can you vote. Or if you think it should stay. It's a easy two points every time when you go behind backboard, but if you remove it there is no reverse dunk at all and its bad. I don't know which is better.

Good to know that you are working on a upcoming release..thanks in advance for your dedication and hard work for continuing to provide us a better and whole new experience on this game man..props to you..

i would like to remind you to work on the dunkpack thing i mentioned previously..hope u have the leisure to work on it or if you had in fact did something on that..that will be great..

@ the reverse dunk issue..i'll vote on not to remove it but you can add the 04-06 behind the board layup (u will know the layup if you had been a Live gamer in 04-06 series,that will be executed once player are around the backboard area..)..that's a nice move..and i hope it can be added to the game as well..(i'm not sure if 06's animation can be import to 08..haven't read anything regarding this..)..but if it can be done..you might take this layup addition into consideration..

Please, don't remove reverse dunk. Try to focus on fixing the hook shot (from that Yao sequence) and the runner (done by short guys like Navarro) that the player jumps and lands with the ball without shooting it, Also the Gasol GTM, because i still can't do it without going out of bounds, Maybe you need to change the area where it's triggered.

Looking forward to next release (Y)

For Gasol GTM, Ill post a small picture.

There is a setting that makes it run straight to the hoop and this could fix the problems you have with running out of bounds (sometimes I run towards 3pt line lol :oops: ) but then the move wouldn't be accurate.


What Ive been thinking with these hook shots that sometimes don't work and do a travel instead, is maybe releasing 2 versions one with these hook shots and one without. So that if the travelling annoys you, you won't have those moves. But if it doesn't bother you, you can. For me, I don't mind the travels because Ive wanted to do Gasol running hook move in a game for years.

Of course I will try to see if there is any setting I have forgotten that could fix it, but when I first made them I tried alot of things and it didn't fix.

Thanks Webber, it would be great to have 2 versions if you just can't find a way to fix them. The hook shots look great, it'd be amazing to have them working, but it feels annoying to me that nothing happens when I execute them. It's not just the uncalled travel that's bad, otherwise I would write something about that layup done with the shoot button, as when I tap it to fake, the player removes both feet and stops. But I won't complain about it :)

I'm still amazed the you and other patchers can edit these complicated things, i have no idea how you pull it off, but if you can control the time of release of a sig shot that you created, there should be a similar value that makes the hook shot get released.

I hope you continue to improve the game (Y) We all appreciate it.

Hey Webber, have you noticed that the CPU team would only pass it one time and then they would shoot? I think you need to edit the file so that the cpu team makes more passes to teammates

TC, I think that should be fixed now. I hope. But there is only a limit that we can do and the rest needs to be fixed by EA.

The problem with the time for release is that its different for cpu and for us. CPU release shots quicker, and don't jump as much. So if I design the timings for AI, then it will be too long and jump too high for user. So as it is now, some of the shots when taken by AI look slightly wrong, but look right when shot by user. So I think this is the best way. About the hook, which hook in particular do you think should be slower release/jump higher? Gasols or someone else? And I have already removed the headfake from that layup you were talking about, if you try to headfake now it will be like layup button where it goes straight to the shot.

Btw Ive added some more shots around the hoop (for all players) and they add more variety I think. As the ai takes alot of jumpers close to the hoop and this helps stop it looking like the same shot all the time.

Here is preview testing both minutes and shot distrubution. If you notice its differenent for both teams and there is a random element to minutes and shots, which is why its not Lakers vs another team. A problem I had early was 1 in every 2 games Kobe wouldn't get enough minutes and Sasha too much, but that seems to be fixed now.

Hey Webber,can you fix one more thing?
I think that almoust any player should have thouse fade away gtms.Like T mac or Carter.I mean,I'm playing with new jersey,and RJ doesn't have a fade away move.And in live 04,practicly every player could do it,and it looked nice.Can you add thouse gtms?
And one more thing,when I do a standard fadeaway(backward + shoot button) they lift their leg and shoot,but don't really move backward untill they shot.They stay in place untill they relise the ball,don't really fade away.
Or maybe you should put gtm fadeaway animation instead of that fadeaway animation.Once again,that was the situation in 04,and it worked fine.... :wink:
