in your 4.0 you made the tattoos pop n the skin details sharper,probably coz of the high contrast but you had alil too much shadows under the arms chin etc. As with the preview that you last posted it seems that you were able to eliminate the shadows but the contrast is alil low so da details tend to blend hence the tattoos n other details looks blurry or unsharp and with that it might also blend with the court making the action hard to see specially when things are happening fast . Try to add alil more contrast n bring back some of those shadows to give the character more depth n make it less flat. Well guess thats the word im looking for the last preview seems alil flat. Btw were ya able to notice the thing i was saying when they take free throws or ducks? With previews versions, when they duck the light that hits the head, shoulder and top part of the jersey moves with the character which is very realistic, in ver 4.0 i thing it still happens but very minimal and unnoticeable.Hope you can look up to that. Il continue to play with 4.0 please letme know if ya need mo insights. Keep it up bro. :wink:

ooohhh ya fixed it...tiight! ya got a snapshot of a " white " player so we could see the contrast of the shadow? (Y)

one more thing i see you got the same thing as the other light patcher. the bands became too bright its not uniform as to the jerseys. I think ya bagged the lighting on the arms,look at camby's arm,its tight looks like there's texture to it and the tattoos seems sharper (Y)

few more tweaks guess your done. If ya want i can test drive it for ya just send me the file and il give ya ma insights,thats if your just willing to.

you should add more shine and use a sweat patch even just 1x... then more shadow under the arms and neck... coz it looks like just the default EA lighting... :oops:

it looks like your light 2.0... really good looking! i didn't like those red-and-yellow details on white players of your last version, but it seems you solved that issue.

Babylei, I think the lighting is quite good. I don't know if it really looks like default lighting ('cause I've never seen it). However, unlike others, the shoes are like, darker and it blends with the shadow underneath. The blending between bright and dark is very well done.

As this is just the beta, that means later on, there would be better! 8-)

the shoes dont shine.. <--- goood thing...
anyway... just a suggestion... get rid of bright headbands...

if you could...
then add brightness or shine in jerseys as well as jersey shadows...

In the meantime, for bright headbands, you could just change the color of the headbands in "Edit Player".

yeah i know about that.. but sumhow when you change it looks like the color doesnt match the team color... and in that way you cant use the "team headband" anymore...
