i mean to say the original nba live 08 sir. with season roster patch 5.2
i want to know if i could use only the tup 12 main folder patches and overlays only. will they be compatible with nba live 08 season roster 2012 5.2 or the NLSC patch?

Hi Dc311, the game now works great for me, thanks to you and the rest of the TUP 12 team, as well as the other guys responsible for making such game possible. I've just visited the forum again and I saw the many complaints from some of the new guys, I was wondering if I may present everyone a solution, but I wanted to pm it to you first for your approval before I post it in this forum, may I send you the suggested solution?

They should be.But I will not guarantee it.

Finally, my NBA Live 08 is working fine. Sometimes it crashes in the start of 4th quarter but in timeout it doesnt crash anymore , It is 80% fine. Can you help me for minor solution for the crashes by quarter?

The solution is this, since it's just the home and away jerseys of the teams that are in high resolution (not sure about that part yet), I decided to replace all 2x home and away jerseys of TUP 12 with the 1x home and away jerseys from TUP 11, the download titled "SGSM Folder Updates" from the TUP 11 download section contains the jerseys, within the uniform folder. Now, no more crashes regarding the 2x jerseys, since they're all 1x. What I did was install a fresh nba live 08, apply the TUP 12 patch, and then overwrite the 2x jerseys with those from TUP 11. No more time spent in converting the 2x jerseys to 1x, just download and copy over them. I give credit to those who made the jerseys from TUP 11, thanks guys! Who knew that jerseys from past TUP updates can do wonders for the latest TUP. =)

I just want to correct you on something,the name of the download is "TUP 11 Game Art Update".It is downloaded as "SGSM Folder Updates".

I have a little problem when 4th quarter comes, it crashes the game what should I do? I already reinstall the game actually in calling timeouts it not crashing just in start of 4th quarter only. What should I do? Help me.

Welcome Dc311! I hope the solution can work wonders for the other avid followers of TUP 12 as well. It's always good to have a copy of the past TUP's, you never know when they might still be able to help you out in the future. i appreciate this and all but you guys are being very inconvientent with this jersey situation.

If you understood how long it takes to convert all of the 2x jerseys,especially the newer one's with the numbers on the buni's,then you would not be stating this.I noted in the first release in the "Read Me" txt file and posted in this thread about the 2x jersey problem.I do not have the time or the patience to convert the jersey file's and also,I just simply do not want to do it.If people would just read the thread and the instructions then they would know what to expect.It would be inconvenient if I or the TUP team were getting paid for this and this was a business.But it is not.We do this on our free time for your convenience and pleasure.It is either take it or leave it.

your 100% right i mean you and the rest of the TUP crew are getting tons of disrespect for this small fixable problem. When they should be happy you guys spend months keeping one of thier favorite game better every year.I would like to apologize for my "douche bagness", Cuz you guys are not some big company getting compensated. Your a bunch of guys trying to make thier favorite game better and then sharing it with the world and frankly that is pretty cool. Now i will point out the the pros:
1.Roster you have all time teams and updated roster as of the end of NBA 2011-2012 season
2.The artwork is just amazing i love the derrick rose theme props for tht
3.the music This is one of my fav things about the game i love the sound track you guys did
4.And many more like new transitions all-star weekend update the scoreboard the face thing for CPU created player

A new net that I thought I included in the original release.

There are still missing cf's and portraits from the free agent pool.It is because they were never made or I did not have them.So do not complain that there are some missing.If you happen to have those missing files then send them to me in my PM so I can include them in a possible update pack 4.

thanks guys i have fixed almost all the problems regarding 2x jersey crash problems with my tup 12 here in my pc. i didn't replaced all jerseys by the way. instead i try to play all 30 nba teams and replace only the jerseys of the teams that crashes after the loading screen finishes. i also replaced the alternate jerseys of some teams that crashes on me like new orleans alternate 2011-2012 jersey. BUT there is one WEIRD crash left for me after experimenting and testing all jerseys of 30 nba teams only. That crash is the one i'm having with the "Sacramento Kings". The crash happens right from the start of the loading screen just right after i clicked on the continue button. I have tried to play Sacramento Kings both home and away, and i've also tried to use old jerseys and changed the court where we should play but still the problem persists. I call this a weird crash by the way coz i usually would crash after the loading screen when the announcer would start to talk and i know that this crash is caused by 2x jersey incompatibility. Anyone of you guys have also experience this kind of crash?

I got this too. Sacramento Kings Can'y be play on match as team home and away. Practice, 1 on 1 still work. Please help with this, I want to play dynasty with Kings and with this I'm lost now. Waiting for your help with hopes.

see i thought so that i wasn't the only one having this crash with sacramento kings it's really weird. any solution i try to fix the crash doesn't seem to work
