What did you expect? Italian national team has been going into a steady decline since the 2006 FIBA World Championship. All the stars that competed few years ago, like Basile, Fucka, Morcanto, Soragna and Bulleri, are old now, over 33 years old. They renewed their generation of basketball players recently, but they put in average and not widely known players. Bargnani and Belinelli cannot bring their team to Eurobasket alone, they need help from the bench. Meanwhile, Israel has some stars like Eliyahu, Halperin, Burstein and Casspi (who will make a pretty good debut on the Israel team, I expect).

about team: wright know there is 22 Euroleague team and 2 team will go up from the qualifying round (i think it will be ALBA Berlin and Khinmki moscow ) there is a place for 6 other team and there are 16 teams in the qualifying round so wich team you prefer will be in the roster? (from the qualifying round)
