For the main court? KidJustin's made a great court based on the Thomas & Mack Center which I'm currently using, but that's a pretty cool idea too. It'd be great for the practice court if nothing else, since we can use 1 on 1 mode to simulate the boss battles.

I've updated the rosters sans rookies, all the ratings are in place and I just have to update the bio data. I'm thinking that the rookies can be an expansion pack or v1.1 thing, given each team has ten man rosters perhaps expansions can fill them out to 12 players including rookies but for the moment the rookies aren't in the v1.0 rosters.

No, we can't quite replicate that but every player in the rosters will be able to perform High Flyer dunks. A list of limitations, from the first post:

A few things we can't do with LIVE JAM.

• Sorry, no 2-on-2 or 3-on-3 gameplay. We've never been able to get that to work properly.
  
  
• No NBA Jam-style dunks, somersaulting off the screen and the like. The High Flyer dunks will have to suffice, along with the frequency of dunks and ability to dunk with everyone in the game.
  
  
• No custom commentary. We can't edit the commentary, so unfortunately we can't stick in a "Boomshakalaka!" and the like.
  
  
• Unfortunately, we can't use the NBA Live 2003 sound effects. I tried and it crashed the game, which is a shame because there are some really good arcade-style sounds in 2003 that would've been perfect. Can't be done though.
  
  
• There's no way to represent Fire. If someone was to make a glowing ball or the like that might be good for the Jam atmosphere, but we won't be able to have players get on fire, the ball catch aflame and scorch the nets.
  
  
• And in general, we can't add brand new modes or gameplay elements. So whatever this mod does has to make use of what's already in the game.

No, not all the players will be celebrities. The 30 NBA teams have ten man rosters with current players, minus rookies for the moment. As I said in a previous post, I'm thinking of adding the rookies as a v1.1/expansion pack release. The special characters currently in the roster are made up of former NBA stars and the following celebrities/public figures: Barack Obama, Jack Nicholson, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.

As other faces are provided, I can add more special characters. However, as I've said before, Justin Bieber will not be included this mod. Ever.

As I've said before, the special characters I add depends on the faces I'm provided with (Bieber excluded). If I don't have a face for them, they won't be added, so that's up to the contributions of others.

Not much to do graphics-wise at this point apart from special character faces. I also need some conversions of the NBA Legends jerseys for the NBA Live 06 and NBA Live 2005 versions, that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Actually yeah, if you've still got those files for the NBA Legends and Free Agents jerseys that might help out. rekib31 has already done a conversion of the Free Agents jerseys for 06, I haven't tried it out yet since I'm still finishing up things with the 08 version first but it might help if it needs to be re-done, along with the Legends jersey.
