NLSC Current Roster Update v3.2 Released

Please consult Faces Troubleshooting.txt. There could also be a conflict with other patches you have installed or you could have some files missing from your sgsm folder, since I understand you recently had to restore it. If in doubt, try the patch on a fresh installation of NBA Live 08.

Hello Andrew -- I'd also like to inquire about shoes. In your readme.txt you list shoes as being updated. Does this patch include shoe art files, or are the shoe id's just updated in the .dbf? I have a previous compilation of shoes in sgsm (from TUP), wondering if those will work with your rosters? Would you rather reccomend downloading a stand-alone updated shoe patch (any idea where to find one?), or just run a clean re-install with only your patch file? Hope that's not too confusing of a question... thanks as always. Cheers, Tibs

Only the shoe IDs are updated. I think one of the Real Shoes updates works alright, I believe you need to install it after installing the NLSC rosters though.

Is the sgsm folder in the right place? Is it the sgsm folder in the main game folder or has it been placed somewhere else?

It appears as though you've got some problematic skin (ie arm_tat and leg_tat) files in your sgsm folder. Try removing them.

They're included with the rosters.

if i removing them the tattos Remained?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If you remove those files, you won't see the tattoos. However, that's where the problem lies so removing those files is the solution. Alternatively, you can always try a different tattoo update.

That just means the art hasn't been installed properly. Please see the readme file and the Faces Troubleshooting.txt file for more information.

Sorry, but I'm afraid the problem is at your end, not with the patch. If it was a problem with the roster, everyone would be reporting the issue. Period.

Sounds like a conflict with something else you have installed, as I don't encounter that crash when testing the update.

Again, if the problem was with the patch, it would happen to everyone. Not two people. Everyone.

The issue with Stuckey's speech has been reported, it's on the list of corrections for v3.3.

Thanks, must've been working from an incorrect source while I was doing the draftees. I'll fix that up for v3.3.

I've already told you, a problem like that would point to an issue with the arm texture files (arm_tat). You've got two options; remove or replace them. If you're not willing to do that, then I'm afraid you'll just have to put up with the problem, which is being caused by a file that's not included in the roster update. There is nothing I can fix from my end.

Doesn't matter. The skin files are called arm_tat and leg_tat regardless of whether they have tattoos or not.

Alternatively, if you're using a face patch for David Lee it may have a skin tone that doesn't match the one specified in the rosters, because the rosters don't come with a face patch for Lee. If that's the case, you'll need to edit his entry in appearance.dbf to match the skin tone of the face you're using. Again, it's not a problem with the patch because I cannot guarantee compatibility with every other update available, I can only make sure it's compatible with the art files that are distributed with and required by the rosters.

Change Rodney Stuckey's SPEECHID to 2396. I've already done that ready for 3.3.
