Can't say fixed tho but i can say somehow reduced. Without the patch it was crashing every single game, now i can play 2 games consecutively. Couldn't play 3rd yet.

Hi Jaosming,

I saw that layup and dunk are at the same button in 08. If it's true,
can you separate them or substitute the control by 07's? I would not
like to play it if I can't decide layup or dunk.

P. S. You're a good patcher (Y)

Could you reupload the crash fix. The link just takes me to filefront home.

My game only crashes when there is an alley-oop animation.

Cedric, your issue is very spedcial, I'd recommend reinstalling the game.

As for the "crash fix" well, it doesnt work. If you think it did, sorry, youre wrong. Therefore I deleted it from filefront.

cityhunter714, thanks but there is no way to go back to the separate buttons.

Oh, I see I was under the impression that your crack fix might fix the alley-oop bug, which is strange.

Thanks for the tips :D

So they are indeed at the same button. Then can we decide when to layup or duck? If we can't, can you change the control back to 07's?

um, one of the tattoo patches by pdub includes base files for the arms, you will probably need those to fix your gear issue

cannot go back to 07's control scheme

Alright so now I am announcing my first patch for 08. It is realistic floor reflections for the advertisements. It has always kinda bugged me that you could read the advertisements clearly in Live instead of it being blurry and just a coloration on the floor.

As you can see at the bottom of that screenshot, you can clearly read the stadium advertisements in the reflections under Durant.

Yet notice the reflection colorations from this video on play #3...

So here are the changes I made as a first attempt. This isn't constricted to working with only one camera, instead it works with all gameplay cameras and instant replay.

At first I didnt know what you did, but after looking at numerous times I saw the effect. It's pretty cool, but if you can, try making it more noticable because in the video it was very noticable and blurry.

Will it add more lag to the game or not? because the game slows down on my FX 5500 card.. I will feel very disappointed about my card if it will do.

This really isnt "adding" to the game, just changing the way the reflections look so there should be no lag.

Teezoo, I'd just wait until we release something for 08 since getting them to work in 08 requires viv editing and stuff, something I dont want to start telling you. Maybe Ill make a tutorial later today.
