i don't get these reviews.....they are the same every year. Next year they'll copy + paste this beauty

Instead of trying to patch up the flaws in last year's game, EA Canada and EA Sports returned to the drawing board, scrapping the arcade like control schemes and gameplay gimmicks in favor of classic basketball mechanics

i mean, all i remember from these reviews is retun to fundamentals.

I finally watched the movies and honestly I don't see a change. I am going to be the first one to call they use the old jazz logo's. What will that be 4 years in a row? They better not sell this for $40. I encourage everyone to not buy this til the price goes down I know I will. LOL at the go-to moves you guys are right those were all just normal animations.

Honestly for what they gave us last year they should give us a free download update. The only way I will buy this is if all the bugs are fixed. Has anyone confirmed if they will use the stupid jerseys? You know each individual number from 00-99. I bet they didn't bring back walking either. Why don't we just update 05 or 06 and continue to play them?

Looking at the new videos, the shooting looks weird. Like Kobe's, Dirk's and Wade's fadeaway they release very late... But there's a very quick release on the free throws..

And looking at Wii's video, every shot went in.. Perkins' fadeaway three-pointer.. Only missed shit was Rondo's half-court shot...

And basically, if there's a star underneath the player, his unstoppable.. Like Parker..

Like the Hot-Spots and Go-to Moves..

But yeah, most of the changes are made outside the actual playing.. Like Dynasty mode and extra teams..

I'm really waiting for 08.

Oh, considering the previews I'm not satisfacted of Live 08.
EA should have done something more, a lot of things more.

The jerseys textures aren't as good as I was hoping, they're like 07. EA updated some minor stuffs, just two or three features in the gameplay (next-gen is what I'm looking forward to see on pc). Not enough.

EA really s**ks, I don't have any doubt.

But we are very lucky in a way: I think that the graphic system will be like Live 07's, with fsh, ebo, dbf.
We have a lot of patchers who can make our life happier and easier patching.

Lagoa, Cerv, KJ, Uto, Looser, Lean, Lagoa, Njkobe, Glen, Jimmy, Pdub, JaoSming, Kremsku, Conrad, HT23, and all the others..

By the way, when are the old freestyle moves implemented? Is it just based on the situation now and the computer does it whenever the time is supposedly right?

To me, the players dribbling and going into a jump shot seems to look better, not sure though.

Still wish there was more player-to-player action. In one scene, LeBron kept charging at a player and the player didn't budge for a while.

Still, I have to admit that they changed/removed/added more than I thought they would, so lets hope that it was all for the better.

What do the stars mean by the way?

I'm also glad the transitions screens are for teams, not a useless EA Sports logo.

I still need to see more before deciding whether or not to buy it.

I wonder if having a poorly ported Xbox 360 version would be as good. Even if didn't play better, it would look better. I'm pretty shallow I guess

The graphics shouldn't really come as a surprise. It's been confirmed for months that the game is not a port of the Xbox 360 version and would more closely resemble previous instalments on the PC/PS2 aesthetically speaking.

Good to hear that some of the Xbox 360/PS3 gameplay features will be included, though it would seem they'll be scaled down. Hopefully that means Dynasty Mode will benefit from the upgrades that have been made as well. I'll reserve judgement on the gameplay until I've got my hands on the game.

i noticed how the cpu on spurs vs cavs kept going to lebron

also on the celtics(cpu) vs lakers the celtics kept going to KG in the post

there also seemed to be no more pg domination

another thing was the heads seemed awfully huge did they go back to 06 player models?

they said :"we will improve the rebound system , like reward on positionnement " or something like this , but if you watch the 3rd gameplay's video "cavs vs spurs" you can see that they didn't do anything on that issue ! duncan is so far away from the ball , and he's still get the ball !!! live 08 is just a piece of sh*t ... another rosters update game ... and i don't understand if freestyle superstar was tooken off or not because in the same video we can see chris paul give the ball to chandler and the target under Paul flashing , im really disapointed , it's the same old live's engine still 06, players' animation still looks like robot ... what EA is doing with all the time they got for making the game better ?! i'm sure they play 2k7

Didn't my instant replay patch in SUM V2.1 slow the replay down a little? I always thought the 07 replays were in fast forward and I thought it looked a bit normal after I patched it.
