Probably both but
if 2K was on PC I would bet we would of had the good version of live last year.
2k7 was on the 360 last year. Look what happened to Live 07 on the 360.

Coz I badly need to know if LIve 08 pc version supports widescreen

The PC version isn't out yet as far as I know. There's some conflicting info regarding the actual release date as some sources are reporting international release dates that are earlier than the October 30th release that is currently scheduled for the US and Canada but as far as I know the PC version isn't available anywhere as yet.

LIVE 08 IS WIDESCREEN NOW.. so if u have a widescreen monitor, pick a widescreen resolution.
I just made a separate post about a problem I'm having with screen resolutions -- last season my laptop hooked up to a monitor played at 1600x1200, this season I can only play at the max resolution of my laptop screen which is 1440x990... why won't it let me go above that if my LCD screen I'm using supports it?

You might wanna check this thread:

As mentionned in there, it will always be a bit stretched, as it doesn't fully support 16:10, but it's as good as it gets...

Actually, isn't the highest resolution 1440xsomething? Isn't that a widescreen resolution?
I have a 22" widescreen which sucks for this game cause the resolution is 1680 x 1050. Again, we get screwed by EA who doesn't feel like adding another resolution (probably takes 10 seconds of programming). They must assume everyone has turn of the century crap computers with integrated graphics.
