My thoughts exactly. EA, surprise me once.

Just bought an X360 finally, and these videos look pretty good. I'm surprisingly optimistic.

they didn't show much footage of it, so from what ive seen it could go either way here.

Well, it is new in the sense that there is no special button for this or anything; it all relies on the spot you are in, the player, and the situation. So the good thing about it is that you don't just chose to do it whenever you want, which cancels out 50 point averages and unstoppable shots. I've been interested in NBA live since 2003 and this is looking pretty good this year. I just might get it, if they keep showing these improvements.

^Read above. You won't be able to do these moves on every play it is just in pressure situations and it dependas what spot of the floor you're on.

I must admit that it gets interesting...the only problem is that not everyone has an XBOX 360! :(

this go-to move system is a good idea i think, if everything goes down the way EA wants it to! I mean they can only be performed in special places and situations! So there won't be situations like: Oh okay, I give it to Kobe, turns, fades, fires baaamm baaam bamm 60 times a game! that would be ruining again!

I always have the feeling that the guys at EA don't know much about ballin'! Really! what they now is how to advertise a product!

If I were one of the guys there I'd sure call in some hardcore bball fans and Live players to add their ideas, and lecture the whole stuff!

a funny thing: "the superstars look and act like their real-life counterparts" Honestly guys, how many times have we heard this statement over the past couple of years:) They should at least rewrite the sentence because it is getting boring.

I'd love to see something about the PC game now...I'm a bit afraid that the situation is not that good in this case. But come on EA, show me that I'm not right.

Lol, everyone could have an xbox 360 if they spent $400 on just a console and controller :-p.

For me, all the games I play are on my PC, I souped up my PC for games (there are good games for the PC too, like oblivion, battlefield, counter-strike, half-life, etc). I think anyone could spend $400 to upgrade their pc to play games like an xbox 360 with more flexibility than an xbox 360.

On a 360, personally, all I would play is NBA and maybe Madden (only because the next-gen versions aren't available on the PC, if they were I wouldn't play the console at all.

You can basically get all the same games you would want on a console and more on a PC (All of the major games come available on the PC too, like Tom Clancy's series, GTA, Elder Scrolls, C&C, Call of Duty, Halo). I mean, all major titles come available on the PC, and they can be readily updated and you don't need to pay $10 a month to play online in most games. In fact though, you probably get more games with the PC than a console.

I have a souped up PC, I can play any game I want and it will have better graphics than the 360, and more games and better games are available to me.

EA doesn't add any of these things to their current gen game, they don't even talk about their current gen game, and they probably won't even change their current gen game. A person like me who souped up my PC instead of buy a console (PC gaming is better IMO), is able to use all these features, but a company like EA doesn't care about PC gamers like me :-p

I can't celebrate with all you guys until they say "Next-gen coming to PC!", or if they even say that, they might just discretely not release a PC version next year and mention it in one tiny sentence in one article next year :-p

I'd love to see something about the PC game now...I'm a bit afraid that the situation is not that good in this case. But come on EA, show me that I'm not right.

EA please show me that he's not right :)

sometimes, all they do is try to appeal to the fans. they have to invent something new to make everyone buy it. every year they take away something new. in nba live 06, the menu screen was really nice but in 07, it was horrible. remember when u could actually save a game? too bad we cant anymore. :(

No surprise, they are working on go to moves, this makes me sad because they will probably give us shitty AI once again, but install these "cool new features". Apparently EA things Graphics + Features are way more important than actually good gameplay. Im tired of EA, when is 2ksports going to make a PC version of their game? We should have a choice!!!!

^^ I honestly think they are giving more than that, why else would they type all of that stuff in the blogs? and release that information before screens!!! They are trying to give us something that we want to play. . but a lot of people don't want to read all that

This is gameplay...they are just selling it by giving it a name and describing what it does. Gameplay is a feature of the game, along with graphics, different game modes, etc. So I believe you are a touch confused Buck.
