The only thing I'm wondering is . . do they move realisticly or like Stiff Robots?

Player movement looked pretty good in the conference call video, though videos alone can be misleading since the only way to get an idea of how player movement feels is to actually play the game. They are using the animation blending from Homecourt in NBA Live 08 though which would suggest it will be an improvement from last year, so I guess we'll see how it pans out.

True. . ..the blending is what intrigues me the most, I can't for some vids

Iverson's armband doesn't look to be bending properly, it looks like it's going in the skin.

I really like the way they have done the hands, arms, and legs so far, as well as the bodies. It looks really nice.

I'm not a fan of the actual faces though, but I definitely would not complain about it.

By the way, did Yao Ming really get that kind of haircut? Or is the hair just off in the screenshot?

Yao looks like an alien or something. The nextgen graphics look nice, yes, but somehow they don't get the actual look of the players. Looking at Kobe's band which appears to be unwashed for 3 weeks. Wade's bands are faded, if that's they're representation of black.

As stated in the first post, they're Next Gen (Xbox 360/PS3) screens.

No idea. I expect most of the previews will be Next Gen with a wave of Current Gen previews coming at some point.

nice as always.. wish models did self-shadow or cast shadows onto other objects for Next Gen version.
