a week later than the previous year...what can they do?(EA)
Mon Jul 16, 2007 10:20 pm
i kinda wish they would push back the release date as i hate when these games are missing rookies and i have to go through and make all the trades they left out. i hope it aint that bad. also the bugs, i dont see why they cant just release closer to november.

I'd like that too, especially because of the early cutoff dates for the rosters but unfortunately it's the NBA marketing department's call.

Andrew, is it real that PC Version is delayed?
Thu Aug 16, 2007 11:00 am
As far as I'm aware it'll be coming out later.

Can already feel the wave of negative growing and heading in our direction. Not a good way to appease the hardcore fans of the game of last years poor effort.

It wouldn't be the first time the PC version is released after the consoles though. I don't think it means good news or bad news for the PC version, it just means a longer wait.
Thu Aug 16, 2007 1:21 pm
It'll also mean we'll have three weeks to know about issues in the PS2 version.

That too.

PC----Oct.30.Well that's just ok.
Mon Aug 27, 2007 6:28 am
hey the pc version in oct.30 does that means that it's going to better or it don't have any meaning ???
Mon Aug 27, 2007 9:27 am
At this stage I would suggest it just means it's going to be out later than the other platforms.

Another PC version October 30th sighting.
Tue Aug 28, 2007 9:14 am
It just occurred to me that I hadn't updated the first post with the new release date for the PC, so I've fixed that up. I've also looked into Australian release dates but the only date I've found so far is October 4th, 2007 which is not only incorrect for the PC version but also seems very early for the consoles seeing as though we usually have to wait a couple of weeks after the North American release.
Tue Aug 28, 2007 5:53 pm
Isn't that good for us Aussies?
Thu Aug 30, 2007 9:32 am
Good news if true, though given it's usually a couple of weeks after the North American release I would suggest those dates are inaccurate. The PC release date is definitely incorrect as it won't be out in the States until October 30th, so it won't be out in Australia on the 4th.
Thu Aug 30, 2007 11:56 am
Hi guys... 1st post!! yay!!
is that date only for PC in Australia? i'm assuming we will still get the advertised 4th of Oct release for Xbox360, etc..
Thu Aug 30, 2007 2:06 pm
It's currently listed for all platforms, which seems unlikely since the Australian release is usually at least a couple of weeks later.
Thu Aug 30, 2007 2:15 pm
i get most of my games from here:
http://www.gameswarehouse.com.au/XB360soon.asp
they also seem to be good with dates
Thu Aug 30, 2007 2:19 pm
If October 4th is legit then so much the better, but I'm just skeptical as it's rare that we get the game so soon after the North American release.
Thu Aug 30, 2007 9:11 pm
30th october for PC?
well thats a disappointment
Fri Aug 31, 2007 2:29 am
$89.95 in Australian dollars? That's $73.52 American. Do you guys really pay that much for your games?
Fri Aug 31, 2007 9:32 am
YES!!! we get majorly ripped off, i think Halo 3 is gonna be like $110.00 over here
Sat Sep 01, 2007 12:38 pm
Unless you go hunting, it's not uncommon for new Xbox 360 games to be around $120. You can usually find some good deals of course but games and consoles are pretty expensive in Australia.

Say you bought a console or a game onilne from a US site that ships to Australia, would it work correctly with your televisions? I'm not sure whether Australia uses the NTSC or PAL format.
