The last time I tried that was a Franchise in NBA Live 2003. It's an interesting challenge but I get the urge to start making some moves after a while, though I usually keep the core players.

one thing i usually do is keep the rookies, no matter how good or bad they are, and build around them(which is why i wish nba live had a better system for improving players). then i keep between 1-3 players who i consider untradeable(last year it was 3, pierce, jefferson, and green) and i just build my team up from there. i am sure the same will happen this year though pierce will not be one of them. infact pierce is probably going to be the first to go. i will work out whatever i can cause i want both durant and oden(love useing the rooks). so i gope 1 of them i start with then maybe through trade i can grab the second, build the team around those 2.

Assuming one of them lands in Boston, you shouldn't have too much trouble snaring the other one if you're willing to put Pierce in the table.

Postby lonax on Sun May 13, 2007 6:42 pm

Hopefully , EA will make the dynasty mode as good or even MORE GOOD than 2k.. coz i have played dynasty in 2k and i could its very good....
So, lets all pray that EA this year will really take back their popularity back in basketball game..

Warriors..

Maybe re-do the draft in a randomize order and pick Durant or Oden..

But my first pick will be the Warriors..

For reasons that Andrew already mentioned..

I think I'll pick the Warriors. I haven't played a Western team on a Dynasty before. (in 2003, I used the Wizards and the Sixers; in 2004, I used Raptors; in 06, I picked the Nets; in 07 I'm currently playing the Heat)

If only we could use multiple franchises at the same time.....

always go with Detroit, but i'll probably start a 2nd Dynasty....probably Orlando, but i'm interested in playing with a West team for once. Warriors were awesome to use back in 04.

if they ever give us the option of starting with a new franchise i will pick that team. let us sim season 1 or better yet, redo the draft class and give us the top pick, or a top 3 or whatever, then do a expansion draft. yup thats the team i want more than any

I'd be tempted to do that as well. As I said before the Bulls are traditionally my first choice as they're my favourite team but I'd have to give an expansion team a try, if only because it would be a new feature.

Warriors with their fast break, ofcourse the hometown Nuggets and some team from the East, like Philly, rebuilding them should be fun too!

i liked it alot in the old live(i forget what year, it had toronto and vancouver) the only problem was the comp would only leave the worst rated players unprotected.

That would be the console version of NBA Live 96; unfortunately the PC version didn't offer that feature.

Well, this is highly dependant on the game being even worthwhile, but if it is and I pick it up for the 360, I will do a Bucks Dynasty as I always do. Then possibly do something with an up and coming team, or a team with a high draft pick. More likely than not this will be Memphis or Boston.

Given how it was implemented in the SNES version I'd have to agree with you there.

Most definetly the Suns. They have a top lottery pick this year and another first round pick, so they have great future with Amare, Diaw, Barbosa and two picks; while it will be difficult to find a replacment for Nash. Plus the small ball is always fun to play... A very interesting team in my opinion.

Detroit is also a team that I love playing Dynasty with...

I just hope Live 08 will be worth playing (probably won't :( ).

I have decided that Durant goes to Milwaukee then I will pick them unless Oden goes to Boston then I will pick Boston. I think Durant and Redd will be interesting on the same team .

I just remembered you talking about that when I read your post about trading Pierce over in NBA Talk. Getting them both is going to be quite a feat but if you're giving up Pierce at least one of them should come easy. ;)
