if you are playing multiplayer both of you must have my patch installed or else youll be getting that error

Kris, I'm sure people have mentioned it before and you're doing your best to fix it but I had to bring it up again because this just seemed ridiculous. I played another game, this time with 10 min Q's on All-Star so I wouldn't get my ass handed to me by 58 again :wink: Anyways....I'll let the picture do the talking.

PG domination FTW!!!! I remember reading (I think) about New Orleans being one of the teams you can't seem to fix (if so just disregard this) but if not then hopefully its just a friendly reminder. Is that the beta he gave you?

What did you use fancy passes/dunks or normal?

Sir we are both using ur patch. We tried the game without ur patch.
It works but we don't have the latest rosters, the signature shots, the gameplay. So it sucks. Thats why we need your patch. Because its great. So so great. :cool:

Oh by the way, the error occurs in the loading screen. To be specific, in the second ball in the loading screen.. :D

Hope it will be fix soon.. Thank you very much sir Kris. :D

@LAL4Life I'm using the one that you can download on the 1st page of the thread, so I'm guessing its the latest release. Everything was normal, no fancy passes or dunks.

im sure that my aiact has nothing to do with the crashes just follow the instructions that ive posted and it will have no problem

the release might be delayed a bit due to the fact that only few of my beta testers are posting there comments about the latest one that ive sent them :|

but still ill wait..

Kris, when you release, release also aiact with fancy passes (no fancy dunks), ok?

My question is...

What do I need to play that thing online with...

a) lob passes
b) some new moves (floaters, big men throwing with one hand)
c) some new passes and dunks
d) signature moves for almost every player

Maybe, not necessary:
e) pictures of rookies in game (real head, player picture displayed when they foul etc.)

Can somebody please help me?

What i hated about old version (1.0) is that it's impossible to fake shot close to the basket! Is the new one gonna have any difference about this problem?

Another thing is that, because of sigshots, we lost fade away shot for most of the players...

Anyway, probably best patch yet! Keep it up (Y) (Y)

Sir i guess aiact is not the problem, it has something to do with the database (appearance). Because when the error occurs, we just recopy the default database(My Documents) and OrigDB. Then we can play multiplayer again but "no signature shots, no teamplay, gameplay, latest rosters. etc."

BTW, Can I use other Database patch (NLSC)(just the database) together with your aiact?

Yeah, I agree with chocofrap. Our online league get's CEs all the time and we don't know why.. there is no codebase error, the game just crashes...

We are just using your xanim / xsys / aiavt.viv files. Could that make the game crash cause something in our players.dbf / appearance.dbf etc. is missing?

The weird thing is: I can play against two buddies, but not against other two. That's so strange. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't..

Thinks which really need to fix in future gameplay updates(if possible of course) -

CPU's offense. It's too fast bro. Currently there some fast passes and then shot. Need more dribble. I would love to see more post play from PF's and C's. It should be great if they got a ball, then make some post moves and then make a pass or shot. Currently there are too many guards and SF play. If PF or C get a ball, they shot. A lot of times there are only guards play. It should be great if CPU will use all players in offense. You know shot clock is 24 seconds, not 10. Currently guards dominate a lot. Nice to see PG's domination is gone, but for now SG's and SF's shot a ball to often. I don't want a lot more shots from post players, I want to see them pass the ball also. They need to get a ball in every offense, not only sometimes when they are open.

Cpu's defense. I don't think there will need more work. Defense from CPU is really good for now. It's nice to see that lazy defense from CPU is finally gone.

The major thing is that CPU need to use a lot more shot clock. Hope you can fix it.

Bro! Sorry just got back again. Just a few things for the beta file you sent so here goes.

Ok, first played again in Dynasty at 12 mins Superstar for 8 games (user vs cpu) using all the files included (anim, aiact, database, rosters and settings) and here are my feedbacks. oh, used MIAMI again. :twisted:

Upside:

1. Balanced fastbreak and half court offense - Post plays are made and often kick out is made to open players if defense is up vs cpu
2. Defense is hard but not that sticky ;)
3. Your overall slider settings yielded very good and realistic results bro! :mrgreen:

Things to look upon:

1. Sometimes when post players receive the ball on the perimeter or high post area they just pass back to the passer and a passing relay occurs. Almost 5 passes at each other or even more :?: Maybe you could check this out bro as this wasn't occuring in your last beta aiact.

2. Fancy passes are cool to look at once in a while but to see all passes becoming fancy is somewhat a little bit annoying (in my opinion only ;) ) and most often than not, it leads to TOs

3. Bro what happened to the CPU crossover move :cry: ? Don't know but I really liked that in the last aiact you sent. It really brought a change in atmosphere with the CPU game attitude, you get what I mean. ;)

Recommendations:

1. As I've mentioned above, defense was Hard but not that Sticky as the last time. There were triple teams but the defensive KICK from the last aiact was not there so just ZZZZTIKIFY it once again. :twisted:

2. I felt the gameplay was a little bit fast so I lowered the game speed sliders to my standard 34 for 12 mins and had good results, you could check this also.

3. If you could make separate aiacts like before (normal; normal w/ fancy passes; normal w/ fancy dunks; arcade) I know this would be hard to do but if it's possible, this would really be great! :mrgreen:

4. As i've mentioned before, situational in game auto - substitution is still a concern but well, we've learned to live with it. :lol:

5. overall sliders are good but you know me, I'll play around with this and give you feedback if I hit gold. :mrgreen:

Closing would be this, the aiact is good but just lacks the defensive kick i was expecting like the last aiact which was truly ON FIRE so i give it a 4 of 5.

Bring the defensive KICK back man, or should I say the WHOMP! :mrgreen:

Ok ill send maybe 10 to 15 beta testers but now ill redo again the aiact cuz it seems that the defense once again is quit laid back so i need to make it sticky again like what flip said but anyways ill just send this once ive done it ..Thanks for all who are really waiting for my patch..

Kris, yesterday I had some free time so I was going to test your latest beta aiact.. it turns out that I cant download from speedyshare. :oops: If you dont mind, can you reupload your beta to sendspace or mediafire (I preferred sendspace) and PM it to me again please? I will test it as soon as I recieved the PM from you, I'm free today.

If you are going to send me more beta in the future, (like the one with sticky defense) please make it sendspace ;)

Okay.. Kris I haven't browse in your threab but now I am seeing that you started new project NRLAU.. Pls can you notify me what it will include? Thanks.. To ask.. will you make the CPU.. Call a time-out like in the reall life :roll: Also pls i wanna see them subtututing and shooting three (Now the don't :shake:)
And pls make a bigger Dunk rating, becoz it's very stupid to watch players like Carter and Lebron with 80~85 DUNK RATING :cry:

GazuN, I think it's suitable and reasonable for Lebron and Carter to have 80~85 dunk rating. The player.dbf determined what kind of dunks they'll have anyway, as located in the SSTARHF and all that. I believe Carter and Lebron have nice dunks, therefore the dunk rating doesn't really matter.

Kris, It's ok. I can wait for the new one. I wish you luck on making it all over again. I know you can do it :D

Also, In your aiact with fancy dunks and passes, there are nice layups which are very realistic. Are there any chances that you can include these layups in your next release? I mean, include only those awesome layups and some fancy passes, no fancy dunks ;) To clear things up a bit, those layups can be triggered when you press the layup button when the player is around the three point line. The animation is like the player will hug the ball, move towards the basket and lay it in. It's very nice. I hope you know what I mean... if not, try it in game yourself. I believe these layups can only be perform using the fancy aiact. ;)

I've got just one question. Everything is gosu but is there maybe a list of new moves and what to click to make em? Cuz the back pass occurs for example only if you click and hold the "pass".

Thanks man :) Another question: why for example if there's a fast contrattack i am going with PG and my C from the left (i from the right) and in the middle, opponent. And so, I would like because it's so simply here to make a alley-oop, if my center would be smart he would go under the basket and i could make an alley op, but he stays far from the basket and i can either try to go for dunk myself with PG or pass to my C but than nothing -.- So my question is: can i make anything in this case? for example order my center to do something :P?
