Kris, you have problem with your animations files.
when i play with your anim i can dunk ... only layup (even Shaq doesn't dunk).

can you fix this files?

ive tried to applied your suggested fix but it didnt came out well i think the problem is really in the tuning folder or in the exe of the nbalive 2008.exe

about the passing i really dont know bro cuz those passing animations are from clydeli's passing animations..

and about that post players will not dribble i think that is tough to do bro cuz i dont know what part of the assignment.act that will enable them to hold the ball downlow before making a play..that is what i am always trying to make but to no success i hope pdub will also make some gameplay fixes just like last year so that my burden in fixing the aiact will lessen a little bit..

That's OK Kris. At least you get the guards to do some fakes before driving to the hoop. (Y)

However, I really need some better sliders. Players are moving way too slow (only in my game). I still wanna play 12 minutes a quarter.

And one more thing - the CPU KG - when Kobe was driving to the rim, he did not come over and help, but stood aside, and tried to draw charge - he stood aside means that he was obviously in the wrong position. :?

Ckal, if ur not playin wit player lock. try it. it will make tha game realistic that way and stats would be realistic too.

Ok i was able to make another aiact and ive now sent it to my secret beta testers lets just see what they can say about the aiact ive sent them ;)

bro, i tried using EA's default roster and my game didn't crash in the resign contracts screen..

but with webberf1's, flip's and your roster my game crashes in going to the resign contracts screen (the ORANGE one) after finishing a dynasty..

any idea how this happened bro? i really wanna use flip's or your roster but i tried almost everything (i re-installed my game and started all over again 4 times) but still the problem's there man.. :(

i didn't install anything other than what flip instructed (found in this thread)..any1 experiencing the same prob? pls help.. :(

Kris, does your newest fix include aiact with no easy steals, no bad alleyops and bad passes, cpu point guard which overall is 50-60 and he does 10+ assists and if Cpu point guard has 50 three point shooting he shoots 3+ three pointers. and can you say me one thing, with your fatigue fix all guards gets tired very fast and i must substitute them, but cpu guards are tired and they dont substitute and they play fresh ... :cry:

i had tha most fun juz now playin live 08. thanx to flip v2 sliders set for 12 min. although i played kinda bad. had too many turnovers cuz of 3 sec violations and tryin a few alley oops. i dont see any cons in tha stats. i played real basketball and didnt dunk too much juz mostly inside out game when i have tha dunk available is when i dunk. didnt use player lock. yes ckal i'll stick to playin 12 min so its realistic that way ;) reason why kobe played 48 min cuz i turn on auto sub on too late. heres tha results:

First of all, you were saying what roster can you use. I replied. You didn't say - is there a better roster for this gameplay.

For me, almost everything is fine. Even Kobe got subbed out with 2 fouls in the 1st quarter. Make sure you are using Kris' settings.

Kris, here are a few picky complaints... [Give me a (N)] Player passes are often off the mark, and they are always handing the ball to the opponent when backing down, if you know what I mean. :?

Also, could you try making them not to dribble once they got the ball? In real life, even post players hold the ball in their hands for a while before they start backing down.

And then there is this weird play, in which the post player passes the ball back to the playmaker, and back and forth... :?

Yes i am using his settings and the subbing is still weird even with his roster. I used a different roster, the weeber updated, and same thing.


Btw I play 9min qurters and game speed 34 and finished a game with Denver vs Phx. I won with Phx 90 to 82. Not bad

I shot 48% from the field, the cpu 41%. I ent 0 for 11 from 3pt land. The cpu went 1 for 5. They didnt shoot enough of them Imo.

Also Carmello fouled out 1 minute into the fourth with his 6th foul. Another testament to the subs being weird.

have u tried simulating a whole dynasty and resign a player's contract?
i tried using Kris' roster and wf1 updated by flip but my game crashed on the resigning of contracts' screen..tsktsk.. :?

This should have no effects on the AI.

These should be placed in the "anim\body" folder.

Kris, one thing about the player's dunk ratings - some players like Gasol/Odom can't be alley-ooped to.
