Nice work, appreciate the tutorial.

Blake is requesting me to post this on his thread for those who doesn't know to open the tutorial(vp6.nfo)

Here's the tutotial:

VP6 Conversion Tutorial
Mini Mamba Tweaks (Blake_Bryant)

Just install the files and softwares included in the package:
#codec (install)
#EA VP6 Encoder (installation not needed)
# VirtuaDub(install)
Pls. Take note that all of these are open-source!!!

Tutorial Starts here:
1)
Convert the video you want to use to AVI (Audio-Video Interleave) or MPEG (Moving Pictures Experts Group)
I suggest you use MPEG1 video format.

After conversion, open the file in VirtuaDub? (Or is it VirtualDub)

2)Be sure that in videos> It's in Full Processing mODe
Then check Video>Compression
(Ctrl +P)
Then use the VP60 Simple Codec

3)Then check the frame rate
(Ctrl+R)
Change the value to 30

4) Then Go to video>Filters

Click add, select resize

New width shall be 640 and new height shall be 480
Filter mode should be set to bicubic

5) Proceed to Audio> then be sure it's in Full Processing Mode
6) Select Audio>Compression
Then select No Compression

7)Crucial part here, go to Audio> Conversion
Change the sampling rate to 44100 Hz (Hertz)
Change precision to 16-bit
Change the channels to stereo



8) After that save as avi ..

Now you have and AVI(60) video format. It's now time to convert it to EA's Vp6 Codec.

9) Open EAVP6encoder ...

select the file, then hit convert ...and after that the software saves it to vp6 format.

Now you have a working EA Sports video file.

You can use it in all of EA's Previous Games for videos ..

I tried to use it in FIFA 08 and NBA LIVE 07.
If you want to make the video your intro movie, rename it to intro.vp6
If you want it to be the eabrand... then rename it to eabrand.vp6 and and place it in %nbalive%\movies\english

The texture I used is XBOX-like (nba live 07 xbox version)
It's pretty awesome. I saw the texture being used by the Chinese, I tried them out and it's great. Look at the INdiana Jersey.]
