I think so but individual ratings is always the best basis than overall rating if that's what your saying then we're on the same page.

been a long time since i visited this forum. credit to jungorer for telling me bout this. its nice to see new patchers coming out of the blue to make their patches know. just dropping by to say some of my opinions. if you could vector the logos on the jersey then do so its will look good trust me ^__^. and try not to make it too shinny it hurts the eyes and it does not resemble real life look-alike aim for the sweet spot. and lastly if your going to do it do it perfectly so not to waste time give it your all. other than that theres no more. i'm looking forward for this patch.

ps. i had made a compilation of jersey tamplates before consisting of 15 templates i rememer uploading it somewhere and sending it to 10 people. just ask around maybe you'll get it.

I noticed that you have elbeens name in your sig. Are you the same person? I really wanna talk to him about the CFs he made for the PBALive. His CFs are just so pro, personally i think they are better than nbalive CFs. About the vectors, most of them came from Jenz and they are excellent quality. Unfornately, logos doesnt really show clearly ingame as all jerseys are 1x, 2x jersey is hard to make in live2008 and the file becomes to big for people to download. Its my fault about the shiny jersey as i have instructed Genz to do it more shiny than the actual pba jerseys. I wanted to have an arcade feel for the UPB live. I wish i have more time to reedit the files to make them better, but time is really a problem. Making 10 team, 8 pbl teams, and 12 lp teams is just way to much to do.

To all, sorry for lack of update as i started working 2 weeks ago. I takes almost 2 hrs for me to travel from office to home vise versa and im just too tired to do any CFs or updates for the mod. My only free time right now is friday night and saturday to make any updates for the mod. On sundays i have computer class so theres really not enough time for the mod. This will not stop me from finishing the mod but will greatly delay the release. I hope that everyone would understand that we dont get paid or profit doing this UPB mod.

Mod Update:
Last week I received the PBL Jerseys from prinsipe. These are jerseys from their PBLLive2008, so we all should thanks him and the pblliveteam for the great contribution he gave for this mod. I also received some pbl jerseys from Gen so the only missing pbl jersey is the noosa shoe and the toyotaotis jersey. Last week, i received a reply from babylie about the permission to use his lighting patch to be included in the mod. I also made the temporary ingame logos for 12 LP teams, hoping to solve the 3 pointshootoutbug, but it is still not working.

I have finished the bacchus CFs last week but i just have no free time to post it before.





To Kris and Maek: sorry for the roster delay, im just too busy at work. check your pm for the files. Try to coordinate with each other as not to make conflicting roster file.

To PBATeam members who wanna help finish or polish the UPB, you can pm me and i can send you the working file. I dont think i can do any major update as of the moment due to my present busy sched.

Yes, i have both live2008 and live2006 installed on my pc right now. I tried doing some audio files for 2006 and it works fine, 2008s audio just cant be edited right now. Once all jerseys and CFs for pba pbl are complete, we can start working on live06. I havent checked pbalive06 yet, to test the audio files they made. maybe we can just use the existing pbalive06 audio files (if they agree) and just add a new pbl audio to make things easier.

I suggest before going to 06 stick to 08 first. Because 06 is more of a great game to patch than 08. Nice mod you got here BTW. I suggest as well make James Yap the startup-screen and the video is his game-winner against Red Bull. If this is finish (or a beta is release), this would be in my downloading list and also dont mind those people who repeat saying "release this already" just work hard on this mod

will these be release in package? and may tanong po, kapag na.install ang whole UPB package, and play it in NBA live 2008 in dynasty or season pa ba magrevert back to play the nba teams kng gusto ko maglaro ng nba or vice versa revert back to upb if gusto ko maglaro ng UPB..and will it replace the whole nba teams ba kapag na.install ang patch na ito?..thanks po

sorry but I am not elbeen. me and elbeen had decided to quit patching long times ago. and still, i can contact him sometimes through ym. he does not want anyone bothering him about his patching method same ways that i don't want anyone bothering me just asking how i do my thing. i agree with you that 2x are a liitle hard to make. but before i used to make them and they are quite small. i also made a "hanger" before for the jersey preview screen. anyway about the shine, its not giving the arcade feel. i think it makes it more away from reality. before i used to diturb fran and i try to make my jerseys shinny like his and i did. but never did i upload any and never did i shared how i did it. but one thing was it looked very very very great. and one thing more i noticed about the jersey, the logos does not have like the folds from the template what i usually do is i select the logo>create a copy of the template> inverse selection> delete>then put that layer above the logo>put it into multiply(not sure anymore)>then set transparency to what i think is 75%. the logo will have slight folds. that all. wish you all the best

actually, you could just put the logo layer below the whole texture if you're using c0nr4d's template..

I got the files. I'm now trying to get all the data I need to modify the rosters.
I already have the PBA & PBL.
I'm still looking on how I can get the best data for LP since only reports/recap of games are all I can get.

After I have all the data, I'll try to arrange the DBF.
Here's my initial idea :
- PBA will be almost NBA-like in FG%, 3PT%, FT% and the likes but the ability/potential variable like jumping, dunks and so on will surely be lower.
- PBL and LP will be lower than PBA ratings in terms of all categories.

Give me a good explanation if you have some corrections on my DBF editing idea. If none then I'll push thru with this starting next week and everything will be final until the release of beta.
Only then after beta shall I get back with the DBF editing.

Oh man i promised to Hamzie that i will help him in putting some sigshots for all players but i just cant do it im really busy right now and this JAVA class of mine really cracks my brain..so i hope hamzie you could understand that i might not be able to make the sigshots..
