let's forget about the logos to have a early release.. I think we have so many updates for the up2.. I'm concerned about the installation, if it is batch file, it will overwrite the files right? But what if I have to keep my own patches installed like cf or logos?

I think the batch files would be great for the main live 08 folder.I also think that everything that goes into the sgsm folder should be released like how it use to with past updates.I also think i am hungry and i want some coffee.It is just my opinion,except for me being hungry and wanting some coffee.I am actually going to do that.And maybe watch some porn.HaHa.

the batchfile is more of an aide than a permanent thing...

see cause the batchfile will work like this:
extract files (organized in a folder)
run batch to correctly place the files

but if ur smart/risky enough...
u can manually copy the files into where they are suppose to go and dont run the batchfile (well u will have to open it and see what files get deleted maybe)
ex. cf folder has all the player cfs...logically it goes in the sgsm folder
etc.
...instructions wont be given for that though...its a "u just have to know it" thing

hum i was thinking, and seing all the reply, and i saw a bunch of them asking how to and all that stuff , im proposing , just an ideia, someone makin a video to teach these guy's which dont know how, cause lot of them dont understand very well the readme file,

If they can understand the threads in this forum,and if they know how to download...then they can understand the "READ ME" file.

It's probably not that difficult, but I'd say it would take more time than anyone involved with TUP can spare at this time. It's also overkill given that installation is pretty straightforward (extract files to the listed folders).

@sir jhaine: are you talking about playing against another player sir using LAN? Make sure sir that if you play in TUP mod(with tup roster loaded), your opponent must play in TUP mod (with tup roster loaded) too OR ELSE you will be playing with the default roster. Hope it helped sir..^^

Yes you can.Like KidJustin said.Just copy your files from your roster folder and paste them into you OrigDB folder in your main nbalive 08 folder.

Can I ask, how to make jersey previews?... .I've made a jersey,but it doesnt have a preview yet..

It's originaldb. There's also an OrigDB folder in database under the main game folder, I believe the roster files have to be placed there as well.

have you try it Andrew? I try to put the TUP roster to the origdb and still has 2007-08 season roster when I reset roster in game..

By the way, is the UP2 still having update for the coaches cfs?

I haven't tried it recently but it's usually worked in the past and for others who've asked about it, so long as the roster files are copied to both folders.

The thing that i have done is just copy the .dbf files from my roster file(There should only be 48 of them.)and paste them in my OrigDB folder in my main nba live 08 folder.Then i also deleted all of the files in my database folders that is located in my documents folder.(currentdb-workingdb-originaldb)
Now i have a new default roster.I am not positive if deleting the files in the currentdb-workingdb-originaldb folders actually does anything to help but i did it just to make sure and it has been working for me for a while now.

@Sir Jhaine: Are you talking playing nbalive 08 in a lan game? From what I experienced, you have to install each computers with the same mod and the same roster. If you installed TUP mod on your computer but other computers don't have it, it's possible to play the game but the default roster will be loaded even if you have the same roster loaded in the game. So what I did is that, I installed the same mods and the same roster to other computers. It works perfect, we were able to play with the roster we wanna play.
