The thing that's always nice about new NBALive's is the addition of new audio files for player names, rookies, first-year players, etc.
With this project, is anybody working on player name audio files? I remember a few years back, someone figured out a way to hack the audio fles for existing names - piecing together various first name + last name audio to create new audio files. Is this a possiblity in NBA08?
In any case, it would be great if there were folks who may have worked with audio files in the past to look into this. I think this would be a great addition to making the NBA09 project the best possible patch, to have as many players have audio files as possible...

Sounds tedious job but I have search for the answers on the speechid also but to no avail in 08 version.

Basically all faces and ebos are now done ive compiled all cf's to all great patchers here in NLSC and they are all mainly in 1x (to avoid crashes)

He doesn't only add them into the game, he creates a new one from scratch.

I think your next objective should be begging him to finish the unused GTMs and putting them into the game for Live 09 HQ! If we can get the unused GTMs into the game, we can say kiss my ass to EA.

Yes jom he already told me that he will continue those unused Gtms and some stuffs but we will still wait for the release of 09 cuz we will be getting some new animations from there..

Oh my god.. this is definitely a very sad news. What a terrible things to hear..
It's really sad when people passed away at such young age.
I'm just shocked.. nothing more to say really. This news pretty much silented me.. all I can say is rest in peace..
I think we should continue this Live 09 PC HQ as a tribute to papajack. We should not let his intention vanish.. He had contributed too much to call this project off. I say we continue this project at high concentration to honour him.
Let's all give papajack a moment of silence.. things couldn't get more sad..
