Lebron's Jumpshot justy aint working for me!I tryed all the saves.Arenal allso.Why would that happen if Mcgrady does work? :?

you shud assign it to all fields for that player in dbf, LBJ has 3 IDs and GA has 4 IDs...manually assign them all!

Hope this help if your using IRPT rosters you must assign it in these fields for LBJ PLAYER IDs 917, 1121, 3025.

For Agent 0 assign it to these fields PLAYER IDs 906, 947, 1630, 2032...

I've tried v0.570:

Generally it looks good, especially it's good to see that some ugly moves removed from the gameplay.

Also:
- T-Mac & Arenas shoot extremely realistic. I can score with them especially with Arenas.
- But even Lebron shoot graphically smooth & well- i couldn't score even open shots :?

Maybe there's a trouble with the sliders, but before using this patch, those sliders were working veeeeeeeery well.

But, it's generally good patch. Keep up the good work, bro :wink:

I don't know man...the more I try theese aimations the more I think that it is imposible to make a good one for sig-shot.And I am not tallking about your attempts,I am talking about those sig-shots EA put in the game too!For example,look at Carters sig-shot!It is soo stupid that I will probably remove it from the game!Garnett shoots his sig-shot jumper about...5 min!Man,they are stupid!They just don't fit in the game.Theese players shoot differently but not THAT differently.About 10-15% differently.2k8 did a good job with sig-shots(and,actually,with EVERYTHING).In 2k8 player shoot different,but not THAT different(like Carter in 08),so it's good,but in live it's crap like everything else...
I guess you could try to somehow speed up animations(if that is posible),then I think Lebron's jump shot would be good if it is a little faster.And mcgrady,I guess the last version is the best.Try dunks editing too,that would be a little easier.I guess... (Y)

may i ask something?why after i saved the dbf, the USA team got problem which make the team only have 3 players?(howard,melo and lebron) Anyway
i like the tmac's quick shot in 5.7. Its awesome!

Download DB Commander (http://download.nba-live.com/pafiledb.p ... le&id=1385) or try to open it with Microsoft Excel.

P.S DB Commander sure works, i used it for this.

totally lovin what you did with this. especially lovin mcgrady and lebron's shots although i think Arenas' shot is totally different to how he normally shoots. I don't think he curves/arches his back that way, it is more straight than arched.

I directly used his GTM animation to make his Sig-shot

How will i do that?

Open players.dbf with Excel or DB Commander PRO. Use Find to locate Garnett then look for GOTOMOVE field (its at the right end) and replace the number there with 125.

a small update about what's going on, but not a really good news :(

I've done one for nash, but sadly the leg kicks is nothing like the real nash,
cause his GTM is a left-lean or a right-lean, so he will kick his leg in a way
he does not do in a normal shot.

I've done one for kobe, but he fadeaways too much, and again, that is not
what kobe does in a normal shot, especially when he is open for a shot...

and for Arenas, it's the same problem, the back curl is together with his shot
animation, so you have to stand with the curl or you lose his shot animation...

for Carmelo, I'll wait until the "hidden GTMS" research complete as then
I can use the animation in the GTM to make the shot as smooth as possible.


and I hope you guys know, I can just do combinations of "what is already
in the game" I can't create a whole new animation...I'll keep find combinations
that give a player a sig-shot resembles himself...


good news? I'll keep working to make things as possible as it is. :)

ahh~ I've forgot to answer this. :)
Lebron's release point of his sig-shot(GTM) is a little tricky.
(even CPU would miss it for several times compared to others. LOL)
but once you find it, the percentage is just the same as other shots.

I like Bosh and Wade new sigshots and Garnett gotomove is perfect, but i find Kobe sigshot too forced to be his regular shot. Kobe´s shot is a smooth move lifting the ball up from the stomach with a long release max length of his arms.

yep! so I named this one a beta version, to give out some taste.
I'm not sure if I can do it better, but opinions from you guys may do it~ :)
