tempo seems to be the same as 07, imo maybe a little faster

any1 know the minimum system requirements? my hardware is all fine but the graphics card is still geforce fx5200...i think i'll have 2 buy a new one.

If you can run 07 fine with that video card, you should be able to run 08 fine.

live 08 = live 07 just add animations..

Maybe it has been already asked but can you choose 29 or 58 games in dynasty mode?

hmmmm I see . And a last question , a lot of people told me that in live 08 ( ps2 version ) the pg domination have changed to sg domination , is that real ?! thx in advance =)

I wouldn't say that's necessarily the case with the PS2 version. I played a game against the Celtics and the scoring was pretty evenly distributed between KG, Pierce and Allen. I believe Pierce led the team in scoring though KG would have if I hadn't managed to get him into foul trouble. However, I've found that the default sliders are too generous offensively so Rondo did end up with a few too many assists as passes to the Celtic' new Big Three ended up in at least a few baskets that shouldn't really have gone in.

Are the pics for current gen in the media section similar to pc?

Why isn't EA focusing on PC rather than other consoles? ...2K8 doesn't have a PC version and that means NBA Live 08 has the whole basketball game market for PC...almost everyone has a pc and if they focused on the pc version and made it priority, more people would buy NBA Live 08...not everyone has a console like PS3 or Xbox360...i just don't get it...

Because people will buy it anyway, they dont need to put the same amount of work in.


Before I start a lengthy missing-players-creation-frenzy. Is there still a limit on the amount of players that you can create in the 360 version? Or do i have to be selective again?

It's been discussed at length elsewhere but the common theory is that the lower profit margins on the PC version (the combined console sales greatly outnumber total PC sales) have a lot to do with it. During the conference call with Peter Moore I was able to ask him about the future of the PC version and apparently it's not going anywhere, with Windows Vista/DirectX 10/Games for Windows possibly meaning good things for the future of the PC version. I certainly hope so.

So,what are the unlockables this year?

The NBA Store only contains shoes, though the presence of the NBA Codes section suggests there's other things that can be unlocked via codes that will no doubt be released at some point (or in the case of the PC version, modding).

Check on the other thread to see the PC screenshots and you will see EA”s great “SURPRISE”!

The lack of info basically comes down to the PC being a port of a version that is no longer a priority, thus most of the coverage has featured the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game.

Is the bug like in looser's issue likely to happen in 08?

Andrew,in your opinion,why do rooks have high ratings?

I noticed one bug. Maybe its just for me, but... In a dinasty mode just starting 5 players plays the game in simed games. Sometimes one or two players of fte bench comes to play (gets minutes). How could I fix that? Maybe someone has the same problem?

That's anyone's guess really. Perhaps they assigned some temporary ratings which were overlooked.
