Echoing the main page announcement....

The NBA Live 08 and NBA Live 07 roster updates have progressed to the point where they are very close to being released. While I will still be using generic placeholder faces whenever necessary, I would like to include a few more faces for the new rookies before I release both updates. If you'd like to contribute face patches for the roster, they would be most gratefully received and you will of course receive credit for your contributions.

For a list of faces still needed, please check out the first post in this thread, which has just been updated.

I will likely release one before I get all the art, I've already filled in the remaining players with generic placeholder faces but there is still some work to be done before I can release the rosters. There remains no set date for the release, I have been quite busy lately which is why I haven't been able to make it onto the Forum a couple of days this week. I don't anticipate it will be finished by this Tuesday.

i thought it will be great if you release it after the trade deadline ends..

There's only one trade deadline in the NBA season and that's in February. Offseason transactions may continue right up until the start of the season.

No worries. Teams do have to trim their rosters to no more than 15 players by the start of the season but as I said, there's no deadline for transactions during the offseason as there is with trades during the regular season.
