I'm sick of this game...already. I cant play the 360 version because that load time pisses me off, and the PS2 version really feels like 07 too much for me keep playing it without an AIACT edit.

Sounds like it's time for you to make some files for the 360 version. Go figure out how we can edit accessories or something.

i played both ps2 and ps3 versions of the game.. and for me i like the ps2 version than the ps3 version.. ps3 version its just full of animation but a boring game...

yall know what, im gone get the 08, on the strength, just because of the community, now with that being said, best believe i still 07 installed and ret! to go!, i think personaly this shit, ( excuse my lang. ) has gone far enough, yesterday i was in 1 of my local game stops, and we were talking about sales rate vs consumer rates, and it seems to be felt world wide, since ea ( claims they are delivering a wolr wide product ). these games on console vs pc first of all, i feel is bs, since the dx10 has shown it's face, we all know wut were about to get with that alone, but let me shade an ex. of wut i just did, i went an purchased a ps2 (slim) 6 games, 2 mem cards, ar-max kit ( which i took back after installing, ( yeh shady ) but eh, all these stores cross us up being the conusmer ne way with bs on returns, but back to the point, as we were talking it seems production teams has forggoten the aspects of creating games from back in the day, and even tho ps2 games will stop being made after this yr, ( so i hear ) they are still tho most sought after, over next gen, these systems are sayin next gen but there are not, botttom line i feel we gotta find a way to speak out, and let it be clear that we are not ging to take this crap ne more!, i know i have rambled on and on, but im so tired of seeing the same post over and over, bout this next gen or current gen crap, lets find a way ( a serious way ) that we can get this ppl/ production team to deliver.

How do you do the go to/signature moves on the PS2? It just happens randomly but is there any correct or specific way to do it? Desperate to know.

JaoSming, based on your mix, it seems like the "signature shots" are more like forced FSS animations that sometimes dont even go well with the shot release.

Anyway, oh well atleast this will be a change from playing 07 all the time.

Hey, I traded the game in today for 20 bucks store credit. No need to play a unpatchable version anymore especially since this game will be ported to the PC anyway..


Still feel free to ask questions about it, I have a decent memory of it.

how was the CD as a coaster? Did it do the job Live 07 did or were there any upgrades?

If we got this game last year, we would have been very content. After 06 we were begging for sig shots and various other issues that were not fixed in 07 but were in 08.

We can block jump shots again if the CPU or yourself takes bad shots (kinda like 04). Sig shots happen naturally and goto moves can nice although limited.

The FIBA teams keep things interesting and the hotspots are actually kinda nice. Oh and we can walk again on the court .


This game is just a "stable" version of 07. If the PC version weren't coming out, I wouldn't have sold the PS2 version. But since the PC version is coming out, I gotta say I am pretty excited. We aren't going to have to spend months and months fixing this damn game. Yes the shoe glitch remains, but pdub fixed that just the other week. After us patchers get our hands on this game, I will say (if everything goes to plan) this could be the best PC Live yet. We will hopefully have the ability to add goto moves, and the addition of FIBA teams (officially) can only help patchers. Tosses in the dunk contest are fixed and the new crowd noise/commentary are nice touches. There are issues, but they aren't unfixable issues. If everything works like it should, there may not be a need to buy a PC release for 09 (unless its nextgen) since we have the ability to change everything in the game and keep it "fresh". I'm excited to get my hands on PC Live 08, can you tell?especially since updating oh four failed
