NLSC Current Roster Update v3.4 Released

A new version (v3.4) of the NLSC Current Roster Update for NBA Live 08 is now available to download here (roster only version here). The rosters in the update are accurate as of December 27th 2009, see below or check out the release thread for full details.

where can i find the tutorial on how to make a shoe sir? can't find any in the tutorial section..

As I said in the other thread, you might want to try the search function. I'm not sure if there's a shoe tutorial in the NBA Live 08 section but there's probably one in the 2005, 06 or 07 sections that still applies. Also, just a friendly tip: it's not a good idea to go asking the same question in every thread you post in, especially when it's off-topic. You'll just end up annoying people more often than getting your question asnwered.

do you use NBA Live 06 sir?.. why?.. is it better than Live 08?..

At the moment I'm playing NBA Live 10 on the Xbox 360. However, I would indeed say that NBA Live 06 PC is a superior release to NBA Live 08 PC as there are fewer bugs overall, a much better simulation engine, no issues with fatigue/substitutions (nothing like 07 and 08, at any rate) and it's altogether a more fun and realistic experience in my view.

ahhh.. are there patchers in Live 06 that are as good as the patchers here?.. are files in 08 compatible with 06?..

We're keeping NBA Live 06 up to date with the NBA Live PC Project. Some 08 files are compatible with 06, some need to be modified first and others cannot be used properly (or at all) with 06.

The rosters are updated to match the current NBA rosters, hence the name "current roster update". Beyond that there are some ratings updated and a couple of bug fixes (there shouldn't be any crashes with the new jerseys in the three point shootout anymore), I've swapped the Nets jerseys around so that the red jersey is the primary away jersey by default and the latest coaching changes are reflected.

No, you can't create brand new animations. You can assign an existing animation to a player though.

Fixed Shoes

what do you mean by that sir andrew? does it mean that ALL PLAYERS are assigned with their own correct and accurate signature shoes/team shoes?

No, it means that aside from a couple I may have missed (corrections welcome), players should at least be wearing the correct colourway for their current team. I'm not really a shoe buff so if anyone would like to provide me with a list of changes to make as far as the shoes are concerned, I can certainly make those corrections in future updates.

sir andrew.. please include shoe patches.. I'm begging you.. cause i just hate patching that TUP09..

Sorry, I don't make shoe patches and sculpting the rosters to make use of Real Shoes is more time and effort than I frankly want to invest in the sloppy release that is NBA Live 08 PC. The answer is no; that's my final word.

I have a little problem O.o when i load the roster and click edit players the new guys have white heads O.o any idea how to fix that?

If you've downloaded the full version, it means the art hasn't been installed to the correct place. Please consult Faces Troubleshooting.txt for more information on locating the files and moving them to the correct place.

If you've downloaded the roster only version, you're not seeing the faces because they are not included in that package (hence the "roster only" label). If you want the faces, you need to download the full package (this one).
