.: Yosifun's Tweaked Patches Thread :. (Shaq V2 RLSD)

I was wondering if anyone would mind if I start my own thread of tweaked patched (mainly CFs).

I found myself lately improving some CFs including:
* Making a better skin tone
* Removing wrinkles
* Removing spots
* Smoothing the skin texture
* Blending elements from different CFs
...

Of course I would state that the original patches ARE NOT MINE, and that I have only tweaked these to try to make another version of the same patch. The only problem I have is that I don't keep record of all of the CFs collection I have, so if someone would inform me that the original CF is his, I would update the thread and let everyone know whose the original maker of the patch.

What are you're thoughts?

Like it! As long you get the permission of the great patchers I would support you. Nice idea. I often thought about things like that. Sometimes I cant agree to the taste of the patchers, so it would be great

P.S. CFs Patchers like: King James, courtney, utopia79, Killer Crossover aka OG, Homeboy478, A_NuKe, Glen, Spaky, BabyFace, kenkaian.. I would really like to hear your opinion too.

I honestly don't think it's a great idea. I think a lot of patchers would not like it if they spent countless hours making patches only for you to take it and release it as your own.

But that's the whole point, I DON'T regard those patches as my own and I will never claim for work that I didn't do, I just offer a altarnative version.

For example, let's say I tweak a Vince Carter made my King James, I wouldn't release it as "Vince Carter by yosifun" but as "Vince Carter by King James tweaked by yosifun" (like it really is).

I started to tweak CFs for my own use and I thought to myself maybe other members will like my tweaks, maybe even the patchers who made the original CFs (if they really like it they can put my tweaked version in their thread, after all it's their patch).

i don't agree to this even though i'm not in your patchers list, i think you better comment in the patchers thread and tell them what to do, that's why patchers ask for comments from everybody so that they can give everyone satisfaction, i can see that you want to help and i see that you won't be taking all credit in the patch but IMO ,as a patcher, i don't like this idea. i hope you'll understand.

BTW since you're a carter fan, i have a release of vince carter in my thread... page 4

i accept commets and i try to fix and satisfy people, maybe i'm not like everybody i hope you understand my opinion, but anyway if the YES votes win there's nothing i can do but to let you edit patches even mine since majority wants it , and i think it's hard to decide until you release an example, can you? since spaky already agreed can you try one? or even one of my patches (i hope you like my CF's)...

you must have the original patchers permission before you release anything by them, if you got that you can do w/e you want

Only if you release with permission. I don't care if that's what people want. On this forum, it's up to the original patcher(s).

MAn you can use all of my faces.. They are not mine.. they are ours.. But i know that my faces are not so good.. But anyway if you want to use them.. You have my permission bro.. I want everyone here to update,improver,fix..other works.. That will make the game much better.. (that's my opinion)

OK, here we go.
After getting the permission from King James to release a tweaked version of his Andre Igoudala, I present to you my two versions. First version has more contrast and the second version has less contrast, tell me which one you like more and I will release it. Changes include skin tone change, facial hair tweaks and some other minor texture tweaks.

Sounds like a good idea.. Could you start with some of the skin & band textures for D. Wade.

King James already did a perfect Wade, plus I don't do bands..

I also made a great Shaq, but I'm waiting for a permission from A-Nuke..

Sorry man, but I mostly do CFs and you can resize the jerseys using FshX it's very easy..


Anyway, I'm releasing two patches: Andre Igoudala (more contrast version) and Shaquille O'neal (thanks A-Nuke for permission).
