nevermore, you're wrong. Any graphics card is good enough to switch on lighting. I have Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express on my laptop. It is integrated and I'm still able to turn on lighting.

Alright, the steps:
-Download this:
http://www.3dfxzone.it/files?object=3dfx&objid=100

-Next, extract the file (Install)

-Run the program and you will get this:
Image

-Select your 08 from it's destination.

-Then, what you need to do is "Force SW TNL" from "Performance" and "Emulate HW TNL Caps" from "Cap Bits"

-Next, what i want you to do is change the "Vendor ID" and the "DeviceID" to the ones recommended there. They're set to maximum. If you're using or prefer ATi or nVidia, it's your choice. You can be biased too

Enjoy!

What does the error say?
In case, just go to http://www.dll-files.com/
Look for the dll and place it in where you installed 3DA.

The problem is, the 3d-analyze only switches the lighting on or off but in the game, there's really no lighting.

Yeah, i agree, theres no application that can turn on the lighting. Only good video cards can turn it on.

Sat Dec 08, 2007 6:53 pm

hoping that an application could help make your videocard better or perform better is just...well...irrational.. :|

edit: seeing that the name of the application is 3d ANALYZE..not 3d IMPROVE..

Sat Dec 08, 2007 7:16 pm

Hmm, does "force windowed mode" work with that application?

Tue Dec 11, 2007 3:01 am

the program works with other games its just doesnt work with nba live

Tue Dec 11, 2007 7:54 am

because it doesn't work..you're just thinking that it works for other programs...but it really does nothing...

Tue Dec 11, 2007 7:15 pm

even though you managed to turn on the lighting, your graphics will be messed up. you'll end up with players with half a head. the area where the light will reflect and where the sweat flows will be replaced by transparent parts.
