I remove jerseys textures in Live 08, look results!

I edit 3 or 4 jerseys in Live 08, remove textures, jerseys now are FLAT....man, I LOVE IT results...IMO, it´s more "next gen" style....

I don't like it. I know what your thinking about, though. Today's jersey textures just aren't cutting it anymore because they have way too many folds and wrinkles, and we've been spoiled by nextgen images. Taking away the textures just takes us back to 2001/2000 in terms of graphics.

Some of the darker jerseys look ok but the lighter ones look Live 2001ish. I like them though.

if you darken the jerseys (even the white ones) and then add a really bright alpha file with an intense lighting file you can make it look better

I don't believe that the game will graphically look like "exactly" next-gen until someone creates "Jersey Animations & Deformations" !

Agreed, it's an interesting experiment but without the textures the jerseys revert to even more of a "painted on" look, similar to earlier games in the series.

man one question how did you make the team socks into black ? can u upload for us sir the rosters that you are using? and the lighting ofcourse

all of these is fantastic

it looks good imo. it could be a lot better if jerseys had some kind of animation to them tho... this graphical engine is very outdated.

im not a fan, why not just tone down the textures, rather than remove them?

Lagoa i download your court and lighting stuff and it look great but then i download the next generation lightning patch and it kind of mess up so i need help undo the the next generation because i dont know how thx alot


and can u give me the patch that make ur players look so awsome because my players look like walking stone

not bad looking..but i gotta sorta agree too though on how it looks "painted on". at first when i saw the first couple images, i thought "hey, thats pretty cool.." but after looking at it a bit more carefully seeing that it looked almost texture-less, somehow, it makes the jerseys look more, i guess you can say "lifeless" like in the real games, you'd usually see how players move, the jerseys wrinkle up a tad and shows folds here and there, while in your pics, it looks kind of like hard-textured plastic-like jerseys

They remind me of 2001.
