Unlock all items in NBA Store! (unlocked & w/ links..)

Aside from DBF editing and from the points you get, we have another way of unlocking those items in the NBA Store... DBF editing is just fine, and those points too, but HEX editing needs the least effort for me...

This way of unlocking all the stuffs in NBA Live 08 NBA Store is good when you have a hex editor that could find, replace, and save hexes... In my case i use Fairdell HexCMP2... Now, we're going to edit nbastore.dat file located at your "My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\settings", or wherever you place it...

If you feel you need to back-up that file, well just do it now... :wink:

:arrow: Open your hex editor, then open the nbastore.dat file..
:arrow: What you'll see will be numbers-the bytes, at the topmost column you can see 8 zero's paired into 4, and the rest are 0's paired with 1's
:arrow: Now, just replace ALL the number 1's you'll see with 0's..
It will look like this:

:arrow: When you're done just save and close your HEX editor..
:arrow: Now you should put the edited nbastore.dat file back into its folder, in your "My Document\NBA Live 2008\settings" folder... Start the game use your unlocked items, and have fun!... :D

Note: This is backward compatible with other nba live down to 06, i'm not so sure on 05, i forgot if i did hex edit my nba live 05 at that time...

wondering if im using some shoes that were previously locked and i play online with somebody who didnt unlock them...will my opponent see the same shoes as me ?

Of course man, he can see your shoes. Nba Live 2007 games have this, whether LAN play or Online Play, he can envy your unlocked shoes. Now with 08 i'm just playing in LAN mode yet, not on online play...

Dude, we now have the unlocked nbastore.dat... Just download it from those blue links i've given above, then place it in the "settings" folder in your "NBA Live 2008" folder found at your "My Documents" folder...

Have this weird bug where all items are unlocked... but when i try put them on players they are greyed out... do i need to save settings or something? wtf does save settings do anyway? usually i push it by mistake and it owns me.

HI does anyone here unlock the alternate jersey the gold one that in the cover?
i use this nbastore.dat file and the alternate jersey is the same on the away jersey 2007-2008 color blue, is that a bug? I hope someone reply on this problem. thanks

I never experienced those things dude, i mean once those things are unlocked, you can now use that. Be sure you put the file at the right place, and that's mentioned above. Be specific, kindly describe clearly on how does it runs on your NBA 08.

As I've mentioned above, the (this) nbastore.dat file only unlocks the items found in NBA Live 08's "NBA Store"-in My NBA Live.

It just unlock all the items found in the "NBA Store"..
Here they are:
1. Jordan Shoes
2. Reebok Shoes
3. Adidas shoes and
4. FIVE tattoo arts
