as a fan of nba live series since 2003 , i do not advise you this game

it s all same compared to nba live 07

differences i have seen are

1-hotspots
2-new music
3-new menus
4-no freestyle moves as last year

ALLEYOOPS ARE SAME ONLY ICON SHAPE HAS CHANGED
DUNKS ARE SAME THEN LOWER BOWL CAMERA

BEYOND ALL OF THESE THINGS , EVERY THINGS ARE JUST SAME!
I ERASED THE GAME IMMEDIATELY

Man EA is shitting on us... I wish 2k series was on PC

men! i'd buy the game! and only one fact that i'd give away only 5 or 6 $! it's pritty cool hah?

I will probably wait a few weeks and then try and get a copy on amazon for cheap. I really don't want to pay $40 for an expansion pack.

You could be working for IGN or GameSpot for your in-depth review. I'd say you try playing the game, some issues from Live 07 has been fixed. And since the developers are all human, they are not perfect.

And yes, that's why patchers are here for, to give the game some enhancements.

Camera are awfull.

This is the same graphic like 07.

Rosters are incredible (noah, crittenton 86 ....)

We can't trade player cause in the trade box we can't see how much money need different players. In fact, salary are nowhere, very difficult to modify roster in dynasty mode...

In the end, the game crash 50 % of time with restart computer (i love it).

No really it 's a shame for NBA Live seris (and i'm a fan...)

Buy an Xbox360 and Nba 2k8 (as I'm gonna do very soon). Then enjoy the game.

Well, why is it then that games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare and software like Adobe Acrobat or MS Office come out working really well? I'll tell you why. Because the EA idiots spend more money hyping up the game (having appearances with NBA stars and paying licensing fees) than just developing. I'll bet that a bunch of programmers on a low budget in a garage could develop a game that's better. Heck, I'd be willing to play with a fake bball league just to avoid paying licensing fees to the NBA. How about fake Tom Dinkins instead of Tim Duncan. That's fine with me. We can always patch things up.

Also, if you notice, the crap port from consoles screws up the game for PC users. All the little things for instance. Instead of clicking and dragging in the substitution screen, (which you can't do with a console controller), pc users with a mouse are forced to click, click, click, and click to do one substitution. Not only that, the retarded screen only shows 9 players on the roster at once and you have to scroll down to find the 10th, 11th, and 12th men to substitute. How fucking hard is it to make all 12 players' names fit on 1 screen without scrolling????? This may be nitpicking but all these things added up make the game shit.

I agree with this guy here. EA is suppose to be the biggest gaming industry today. And you're telling us that at THAT level, you can throw crappy games like that with an excuse that 'no ones perfect'? What makes the developers of Konami so better then? Afterall, they're human beings too. But i bet they're far more superior to EA developers since they can put out a solid game every year. At the rate at which EA is apparently fixing the bugs from Live 07 in Live 08, ppl should expect a HALF-DECENT bball game in about 12 years or so. I bet they needed one month more for the PC version just to change all the 'Live 07' labels to 'Live 08' and DAMN they're SOO lazy they just put a real video in the menus, rather than spending some time animating it. Its obvious that with the next gen consoles out, EA thinks they have more chances profiting from the console versions than on the PC.

Thats damn right... I had Nba for PC and after playing a few times, I played it on 360. Thats a totaly other game... and many times better

good thing i didn't buy 08! i play 07..atleast i don't get the go-to-windows-desktop-moves!
