What he said that I didn't like is "it's obvious they made improvements", I wanted to hear where the game stacks up to live 07 or 2k series. All he said is they made improvements over last year's awful product, but it does look pretty good otherwise

wow the gameplay is so much more fluid and smooth now. Im sure its gonna get even better because im pretty sure the copy of the game gamespot has is about 1 month old. Dont ask me how i kno, but im pretty sure.

just saw the show, nba live 08 , still look like it has a long way to go

. wuts up with those some of those moves like where odom was goin up for a dunk then all of a sudden the dunk was finished too fast; like the final piece of animation all of a sudden just jumped to 3x its normal speed.

yea, i liked it, but some dunks didnt look that good...and all that dude did was try to force it inside or fadeaway...i wanted to see some real gameplay...he's a cheeser..lol

Why would ha have to say where 07 stacked up against 2k? I mean we all know that 07 was bad . Whats important know that is 08 looks a whole lot better than it did last year. I cant wait to play it on oct 2. But man this game looks f'n sweet!!!!!!!!

I think the when they dunked the contact threw their body off a little bit and that made it look kind of weird. Overall it looked good and that guy suck that was playing it.

Im going to download the show to see it again later on.

that's not what I meant, I meant I want to know how the game plays compared to live 07 or 2k7, (meaning live 08 versus one of them)

But the game looks amazing and it looks like it's actually fun to play defense, and the post game looks hella fun. The weird dunks I wouldnt worry about, that's a minor thing that will be worked out in the last couple weeks of development.

I'm not so sure about that. From early on in live 07 all the way til now, the dunk animations have looked wack! I saw this yesterday http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rOhiFh-n6M and the dunk animations are even better in live 03.

Don't get me wrong, I think the game looks HEAPS better this year..... just not the dunks. From the footage I've seen, they look 'better' but not good enough. Players seems to start the dunk, and then increase speed by about 3 times and jerk to the rim, without the hands connect well with the rim at all.

I'm still gonna by the game because I think aside from this, it looks very promising. It just amazes me how bad these dunks are on a next gen console.

all i saw was dunking in that video. I saw some good things like odom blocking BDfrom behind. The only problem is that htey always go for the dunk. Even BD dooesn't dunk that much.

The moves and animations looked good aside from the dunks or some of the dunks.

I don;t think much will change in this game from now on to be honest. If they say so, it's just for publicity.

All demos and previews in the past have been pretty much the same as the actual game, if i am not mistaken.
