Wow EA way overrated Lebron a 96 come on the guy doesn't even have a consistent jumpshot. Then they underrated Tim Duncan with a 91 imo only him and Kobe deserve a 96. It looks like if I get this game I'm going to have to do a lot editing.

Yeah Lebron is way way overated, he got skills but tbh, hes media pumped player since his university days,, he didnt made nothing in last final and he still need to learn and prove alot of things by the way and 96 ratings.

Alright Alright. EA has underrated my Golden State Warriors at 74. I am definitely not mad at this rating because that is our identity, "The Underdog". Baron at 88, Al at 75, and Andris at 72 seem about right. But look for them to be the surprise team for this game if you use them right.

I dont beleive these are real but it could be, I thought IGN get the ratings first every year like these from 07.

I don't see why they couldn't be real they came with new screenshots and the author Jon Robinson used to work for IGN sports so I don't think he's making this up.

The Warrios did trade their player who would have the second highest rating in Jason Richardson for a rookie. I wonder what Monta Ellis' rating was, not that I expect it to be really high, but he wasn't in the list of PG's, and the lowest guy was Damon Stoudemire at 74. Monta Ellis is better than that.

Overrated/underrated: Scary thought to the rest of the league: Lebron is still getting better. I don't know how Ricky Davis deserves the same ranking as Prince, Wallace, and Maggette, not to mention a higher number than Durant and Josh Smith. Does Ricky have a cousin working on the game?

Ricky Davis is actually a pretty skilled all-round player, and a 79 rating is perfectly fine. I'm pretty sure more people notice that, so truthfully there isn't too much wrong with him getting a decent rating. He's like an 18-5-5 player who can shoot the ball. I think some of his mishaps have made people view him as worse than he actually is.

I can't believe why Mo Williams isn't even listed at PG. He surely has to have a rating over 74. Look at his stats last season. He is a much better player than Harris, Nelson, Felton, and Mike James, and played better than Marbury and Bibby last season. Conley has a higher rating and he hasn't even played a game yet.

Surprised Bobby Simmons isn't rated as well. I understand he was out all last season injured, but how much are they expecting his performance to drop.

I don't see why everyone is getting their knickers in a knot....these are just overall ratings, that's all....remember that next gen has like 70+ ratings....someone like Tim Duncan does not have as quick a first step as LBJ or Kobe, nor is he as fast or quick, doesn't have the ballhandling & so on....the more athletic & versatile a player, the higher the rating....the overall ratings seem alright at a glance, but you couldn't really tell without looking at individual ones....

Since all the coverage so far has focused on the 360/PS3 version I'd say these ratings will relate to those platforms.

These ratings surely suck. But in PC version will be different, and I'm sure there will be a way to edit the roster.
