Help about Names..

I always use the DB commander to change things, and a week ago, i created a CF of myself and imported it to the game by using Sun Yue's body (it means i changed the face) and i change the from Sun Yue to my name. I created a dynasty about two weeks ago, and whenever the player score (the one i changed the face *former sun yue), the announcer is saying "Number Nine" (cuz his jersey number is #9). And i like it cuz im not expecting the announcer to totally announce my real name. but after two weeks of playing my dynasty, i accidentally "Delete File" instead of loading it (*Damn it). So i had to do it all over again, the dynasty it is. So im playing again, but this time, whenever my player scores, the announcer is saying "Sun Yue" instead of "Number Nine"!! The player's name is no longer "Sun Yue" cuz i changed it to my name, how can i make the announcer say "Number Nine" again? please help, i really need to fix this.

Change the PLAYERPKG (SUNYUE__)to your name in the players.dbf file for your record.

Even though you change the PLAYERPKG the announcer will still say the Jersey Number its because you don't have the correct SPEECHID for that particular player. There is a tool that can create a SPEECHID for customized players or rookies that don't have SPEECHID but it's only working for NBA Live 06 it's what you call the Audy 06. When you try to use it on NBA Live 08 the sound will screw up and the announcer will not announce a name.

Wow, thanks very much! what i want is that the announcer will say "Number Nine" everytime my player scores, and changing the PLAYERPKG doesn't solve the problem, but the SPEECHID fixed it. Thank you, problem solved.

For the record, if you want the announcer to call a number instead of a name, you should use a SPEECHID value of 99XX (where XX is the jersey number, ranging from 00-99 with single digits preceded by a zero, eg 01, 02, 03 etc).
