How can you make it work for dynasty when you don't know what files get installed?
Thats how you get it to work for dynasty right just copy the appropriate files into the NBA Live 08 folder in My Doc?

As long as the roster files have been installed to My Documents\NBA Live 08\saves\NLSC0809 and My Documents\NBA Live 08\saves\0809Uninjured, you can load the roster of your choice and then begin a new Dynasty game as normal. Just make sure you select No for the 2007 Draft option, otherwise the game will revert to the default rosters.
