How do i edit player appearance such as hair style?

How do i change the way some of the players look, my friend who has the same game, yet Bosh has his dreads, ofcourse my friend has no idea how this has hpnd as he has installed countless patches...

Is it possible that some one could help me with this,

If this problem has been solved through a previous forum could you please be kind enough to point me in the right direction

Download a cyberface patch for the player you want and paste the .fsh and .ebo files into this directory (by default):

X -> Program Files -> EA Sports -> NBA Live 08 -> sgsm

X - disc.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do the cyberface patches need to be for the same version of the game in order to work.

Im trying to find one for Bosh (for the dreads) but evn the 86 player patch didn include his name..lol

Yes, you can find a lot of patches on the website and Forum. Check the Releases & Previews section for the latest.

NBA Live 07 and NBA Live 08 face patches are 100% compatible and there's also some compatibility with 06 faces (the only issue being that 06 faces don't have a special layer to work properly with the lighting in 07 and 08) but patches for 2005 and earlier will not work with NBA Live 08, so you should limit your search to 06, 07 and 08 face patches (preferably 07 and 08).

Anyone know how to give Bosh his dreads, anyone like my friend who has Bosh with his dreads and know how it happened?

I have checked all the cyberfaces for 08 and none for Bosh, i'm not sure if he had the dreads for the 07 version either i mean how could he if he didn have them in my version of 08, i have installed lots of patches and their all great, jus really wondering why i have a Bosh wit no dreads and my friend does...lol

The only reason would be that he's using a custom hair.ebo file for Bosh, which unless he can create patches himself means he's got a Chris Bosh patch installed.

Well he could not have gotten it from this website, unless effects to Bosh's cyberface is unmentioned in one of the patches.

Is there another site i could visit that is well supplied of patches?

i installed the Super Gameplay Fix onto my version of the game, the way my players looked was different, they looked plasticy...

and my com crashed in the middle of a game, but when i re-installed it and put the latest roster patch and other patches like the Edit Dunk Package - Full the players still had that plastic look.

The way they looked before, was better, the lights were not reflecting off their black jerseys.

Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

There have been a lot of patches that come and go. 07 face patches also work with 08, so he might have been using a Bosh patch originally released for NBA Live 07.

Have you got lighting enabled? If not, you'll get issues like that.

I was able to find one patch for bosh, after i copied the files into the sgsm folder i can no longer view Bosh's editing screen, nor can i play a game wit thse files. I know that all i need to do to keep the game from crashing is to delete the copied files. Is there a way that i can make this patch work, all it said to do was copy the files into the sgsm folder.

Do i need to create a folder or something?

For your consideration the name of the patch im trying to install is called "ChrisBosh_Arget.rar"

If for 08/07, maybe you're using too many 2x patches?
