Correct primacy ratings

Hi. I have been trying to edit primacy ratings from the latest Andrew's 2.3 roster.
I run all games from my season mode in real cpu vs cpu game so I can watch all games and have real stats. There are quite few problems when it comes to some players taking well too many shots (ie. Gasol scoring +40ppg, Kevin Martin even hit 67, etc.). How do I calculate or redistribute the proper rating along the players? Let's take Nets starters stats for example: Carter 39.5ppg , Harris 12.1 , Simmons 11 , Yi 7 and Boon 5.
What is the common rule for that? I changed Carter primacy from 90 to 75 and he was still taking over 30 shots a game. I increased Devin's rating to 75 (from 50 and the number of shots he took did not really change. I've been trying to work this out but I fail everytime. Any suggestions or links to help me?
I play and let the game run in superstar mode, speed 32 , 9 mins quarter, default aiact.viv

The bottom line is that NBA Live 08's simulation engine is an absolute mess. You can try downloading one of the sim engine fixes that have been posted in the Releases section but if better simulated stats is what you're after, I'd recommend trying another game in the series.
