Wherever you're unsure, just use a zero.

no way it doesn't work.i'm convinced i did everything correctly.

i write the error message when the game crashes: the instruction 0x0000000 that referred to the memory ....... couldn't be read

no idea what could it be?

No idea sorry, usually when there's an invalid value in the database you'll get a Codebase Error that mentions the problematic .dbf file. Are you using a custom aiact.viv file at all?

no i'm using default aiact.viv so i think the file final challenge(the name of live 07 retro patch) is corrupted because i was able to convert other live 07 patches to live 08(for example roster megapack where are classic teams of '92 '95 ''96)

i'd like to make a patch on my own starting from the beginning but i don't know if it's too difficult for me.

It's fairly easy once you know how and have some experience with it, but retro rosters are lengthy projects.

could you try adding missing columns for me in finals challenge file?cause i would discover if wasn't able to do it or it's a problem of the file.

just a favour no problem if you can't or if you don't want

At the moment I'm working on a few things so I might not have the time, but if you could upload the files to rapidshare I might be able to get around to it, or someone else can if they have the time and get there first.

I'll try to get around to them in between the projects I'm working on at the moment. If anyone else wants to take a look at them too, please feel free to help out. :)

No, I've been busy with the NLSC roster updates. If and when I get around to it I'll be sure to let you know.

I've taken a look and I don't think you've done anything wrong, if the database was corrupted it would crash the game when you try to load the rosters. You might need to copy the data from the NBA Live 08 players.dbf file as far as signature shots, Go To Moves and Hot Spots are concerned. At the moment I don't know what else to suggest, sorry.

It should be possible, the process is essentially the same only there'd be more fields to add to the database.
